I’m rating them based on the conversation I had with the technician who worked there. I arrived shortly after 4 p.m. I had called ahead and spoken to the front desk about getting a pig tail replaced on the back of my pick-​up truck for basic towing. I originally had it installed a U-​Haul on Katy Freeway. The technician I spoke to was very rude. I asked him frankly if he could do the job in a half hour to forty-​five minutes. He told me he did not know. I explained that it took less than a half hour when it was done before. He told me I would have to leave my truck overnight if he was not done by five p.m., which to me was simply not acceptable. I lived out of the area and was pulling my open bed trailer. It simply was not going to happen. He told me no guarantees and add several expletive words into the conversation. At that point, I realized I was not dealing with a professional establishment, but a very crude individual who lacked basic respect. I had my wife and two children with me and simply told him that I would not be needing his services after all and I would be taking my business elsewhere. He walked off without any courtesy. Overall, based on the lack of respect and the language the technician used, I would not use this place for any services. They have terrible customer service and their technicians are lacking discipline and basic respect. Nothing could convince me to return.

I’ve been using STR for years, I have always received excellent customer service and the work they do is great. They keep you informed every step of the way and don’t do any work that isn’t 100% necessary. This is the go to shop for any type of electrical problem that your vehicle may have. They have been able to figure out some really odd ball problems that other shops can’t seem to resolve. You just can’t go wrong using a small family business that has been around as long as they have. Customer for life…
