Mike has always taken great care of me and my family and our cars for many years. He has always been very fair on price and lower than other shops in the area. He offers nationwide warranty parts as a option and is really easy to work with. Oil changes still continue to be the cheapest option in town even at 29.42 with taxes. The new office staff is amazing and very friendly I see great changes for this business and would highly recommend them.

After having the car 3 days he calls with a quote $ 1000+ for a fuel pump. We called and said we would just come back and pick it up he lowered the price a little. Decided against and picked it up. After i get down the road notice a very loud tap & crazy vibration. there was a giant nail thru the tire. 20miles later it fly’s out, tire immediately goes flat, and im on the side of the road changing a flat!

Mike is a skilled, affordable, scrupulously honest mechanic who has always gone above and beyond my expectations even when it is of no apparent benefit to him. When I recently needed to make a last minute road trip from St. Louis to California, he generously offered to advise me if any troubles came up along the journey. I ended up taking him on that offer when my check engine light turned on outside Kansas City. Not only did his affordable repairs save me money in the past, but his valuable guidance also saved me hundreds of dollars on that road trip, when a dishonest mechanic in Kansas City tried to force a very expensive repair on me that would have literally done nothing for my car. Instead of blowing me off (as I’m sure many mechanics as busy as Mike might), he answered all of my many, many questions over the phone and helped me find a good mechanic out there, who gave me the real scoop on why my check engine light was on. Mike is the kind of generous and competent mechanic that can be all too hard to find. Did I mention that he’s also very nice?

I own a 2000 KIA Sportage. My check engine light wouldn’t go off and I had many mechanics tell me it wasn’t worth what they would charge me to fix it. (over $ 400 and up!) My niece Rachel White Woods referred me to Mike. They went to school together. Mike and his female mechanic ran all the diagnostic test on my car and he agreed with me that the tune up I had done should have resolved it. He had me drive for 2 hrs straight nonstop and it reset my censors to their correct settings! My check engine light went off and the car passed the emissions test. Kudos to a Real mechanic who took time to diagnose the real problem instead of finding a way to overcharge me. Mike will be taking car of my cars from now on. I highly recommend him and his friendly, pleasant staff!

I get my oil changed here because the price is right. One of the cheaper oil changes in the city… but they only change the oil, I’d be hard pressed to think they do much else for $ 16.99. I find it quick and convenient and haven’t had an issue with their oil change service. It’s a family owned business so you’ll feel good about helping the small business owner when you go here.
However, I think I’d take my major auto work else where… I think they are just too small to get a larger job done fast.

I would and have recommended Mike Piazza Automotive with zero reservations. Not only do they have the cheapest oil changes in town, but they do great repair work. Mike is a great guy and an honest mechanic and if you’re looking to turn any Toyota product into a monster truck, he’s more than happy to fill you in on how that’s done!

I understand very little about how cars work, and I know even less about how much I should be paying for maintenance. Naturally, I hate taking my car to the shop.
I tried Mike Piazza for an oil change and tune-​up before a road trip last week, and it was great. It’s a small operation (only one staffer was working when I was there), and the guy who helped me was really helpful, really nice, and had some good suggestions. He didn’t make me feel like an idiot and didn’t pressure me into buying anything I didn’t want. Overall, it’s a satisfying experience.
Of course, I only needed an oil change and tire rotation, so I can’t testify to the quality of their performance on meatier jobs. I’d give it a try, though. I’ll definitely be back in three months.
