The best massage for all your aches and pains to just relax. I love the cranial massage that helped relieve my thyroid issue. The therapeutic massage took me for pain and stiffness to feeling refreshed and feeling pain free. The Swedish has left me relaxed and happy. Shannon is knowledgable and professional. She truly cares about her patience and their needs.

Shannon is a wonderful massage therapist! She has a home based business. I enjoy going to her home for my massage, it is very relaxing and I am very comfortable there. I too come from a small town and I’ve had massage therapist come to my home, rent hotel rooms to do massages in, and I’ve traveled to spas. I feel if your are good at what you do it doesn’t matter where you go as long as you are comfortable and receive a great massage. I have gone to her every winter while I’m here, and so has my Husband. She is very good at what she does! Highly recommend Shannon. Her hands are Hands of silk!

I have been to a lot of spa’s in my life, but Hands of Silk is by far the best!!! Shannon is beyond wonderful, professional, and truly makes you feel so comfortable!!! The room was so relaxing and soothing. You wouldn’t be disappointed with any service!

I have had many massages in places all over the world, but none better than the ones I have gotten over the years from Shannon. My daughter, husband, and brother-​in-​law have had massages and have all given rave reviews. Her home is the perfect place for her work. It is as nice or nicer than any treatment room I have been in. With Shannon, the treatment is all about the customer. She is concerned about every aspect of the massage, from the type, to the specific needs of the customer, to finishing when your massage is complete. In most places you are rushed out the door after 50 minutes with the thought they were glad to be finished and on to the next person. NOT SO with Shannon. She finishes when the massage is complete and she has met your needs. I always look forward to my time spent with Shannon. She is a wonderful person and true professional in her craft.

Hands of Silk is the perfect name for this business. Shannon is very professional, thorough, and has a very spa-​like, relaxing atmosphere. She listens to my issues and creates a treatment tailored just for me. This is not your strip mall massage place. No people walking by, no traffic noise. Perfect!

I have used many other locations for my massages, always in a spa setting. Although Shannon came highly recommended by friends, I was unsure about going to a residence. I do believe in“shopping local” so decided to give her a try. I have now been going to her regularly for deep tissue massages for more than two years and love her and the facilities. I was introduced to Shannon by my daughter, and I have never been happier with a massage therapist! She has a great location, and although it is in her home, you are greeted with a waiting area, and then directly into her private massage room– which is roomy, warm, welcoming, and very clean. It is much nicer than the row of rooms offered in many facilities! Shannon is extremely professional, and from my first visit she has made me comfortable both physically and emotionally. She is trained in so many aspects, that I feel I could ask her anything, and trust her completely. She utilizes a great scheduling system, so I am reminded of my upcoming appointments, which I certainly don’t want to miss! I am a snowbird, and I don’t even bother to get massages when I am NOT there, I have been so spoiled by her. I highly recommend anyone wanting a 5 star experience to try Hands of Silk – you will NOT be disappointed! Shannon is a wonderful massage therapist. I’ve had two different massages from her, and both were wonderful. She runs her business from her home, which I first thought was awkward, but is actually quite nice. She has a waiting room adjacent to the massage room, and both are in the front of her house. She has a screen to seperate her personal space, and I forget that I’m in a house. The massage room itself is clean, cool, quiet and dim. She had soothing music playing during my session. It’s nice being the only customer there so she can focus on me only. I’ve been to fancy schmancy massage places and always felt out of place. The service was impersonal compared to the service I got from Shannon. I highly recommend getting a massage from Shannon.

I’ve originally started seeing Shannon for enjoyment purposes, then after an injury she became crucial to my healing, and now I see her for my «preventative maintenance.» She is amazing in what she does. And I love her accent
As for her location… yes it’s in her home, but aside from the walking through her front door you would never know it is. She takes every opportunity to make it feel comfortable, professional, and relaxing. You don’t hear others voices or doors closing like you would in a spa setting, it’s just me and her.
