I purchased a used car about 2 months ago and have had no issues. The service was great. The salesman Brandon K was really great. Walked us through the whole process with no hassle. Went back to get the oil changed and the service department did a great job. Newell Auto Group is exactly as advertised and I will continue by business with them.

Ryan Foley at Newell was recommended to us by a mutual friend when we were in the market for a car. We already pretty much knew what we wanted, so I asked if he could find us a 1 year pre-​owned Ford Escape, preferably in gray. Within 2 days he had found one for us at a fantastic price. He made all the paperwork easy as cake for us, and I can say it was BY FAR the easiest and most satisfying car buying experience I’ve had. How can you get exactly what you want and have it be so easy? I didn’t think car buying was like that, but it was this time!

Took my 2007 Ford F-​150 to their service department to get it’s cam phasers and other needed maint. done. Jose took great care of me and their whole staff went above and beyond. Pricing was extremely fair compared to what a lot of shops had quoted me. I even had the ford dealer suggest a new engine when that isn’t even what was needed!

I saw an ad online for a truck that looked great in the photos. So I took a ride and had a look. At first glance I noticed there were quite a few problems. One of the front tires was bald indicating an alignment issue. The wheels were deeply pitted, the headlights were full of moisture, Some interior parts were broke/​missing. They insisted on a test drive so I fired it up and the check engine light was on. No thanks. Priced way over KBB. I feel sorry for whoever pays that. Overall condition was rough. Customer service was rough.

Been meaning to write a review of this place for a while. Newell is as good as it gets when buying a new car. It’s a non BS experience because you’re not wrestling with the sales guy on the price point. This ends up being a good thing for you and them, and since they sell cars to the regular Joe before selling them off to another dealership you’ll usually get a lower price than a traditional dealership (I picked up my car for around the wholesale price).
The service is top notch; all of the associates are super friendly and work with you. Seems like they’re really on your side.
Seems like the negative «reviews» were written because they were denied an auto loan… Maybe you shouldn’t blame other people for your bad credit?

We bought a car back in October and had been searching for a Honda Civic for some time. Newell was very easy to work with — no haggle and very straight forward. We completed the purchase in less than an hour and they were great about detailing the car for us to drive it home. It’s been almost 4 months now and we love the car and would refer anyone back. Everyone we dealt with worked with integrity and professionalism!

Went here recently to try to buy a car for a friend. The cars on the lot are generally in quite good condition, and the particular example we were looking at was one of the cleaner I’ve seen.
My main issue with the place was the demeanor of the salesman, who led into the conversation by immediately turning away a loan we were pre-​approved for, saying they only deal with Wells Fargo, and could not accept our loan from a credit union. After double checking, he changed his mind. Not a good way to set up your deal for success. I do appreciate his offer to try to provider a better APR, but it’s all in the delivery.
Secondly, and this may be a plus for some shoppers, but they do not negotiate on prices at all, so be aware of this before you make the trip. We decided against test driving based on these two points, and took our business elsewhere, ending up with a cheaper car with more features and lower mileage. And they accepted our loan :)

Well I waited 2 weeks before I wrote the review to give an accurate one based on the car. I had been needing a car for some time but had a small and tight budget and was a first time buyer and no dealerships were willing to work with me to find a car I wanted within my budget.
I wanted a clean 350z that was a 6 speed manual under 70k miles preferably touring or track. I had a budget of 12 grand to finance at a reasonable rate. They had a 350z there and i surprised when they let me test drive it as well as a few other cars they had that i was curious about. It was not the 350z i wanted but they were more than willing to take me seriously and work with me, so I came back to sit down with the auto broker later that week. It took some time, about a month but then they called me saying they found the car I was looking for and they were gonna get it and put it through inspection. 03 350z 6mt touring with leather, navi, bose and only 68k miles all maintanence up to date. The car came through with flying colors and it just needed brakes and tires. When I came to see the car a few days later I was impressed. They knew I was a bit of an enthusiast so they even put quality drilled and slotted rotors on and grippy federal tires. I could not have gotten a cleaner z for my budget. Looks like a brand new car. I was well taken care of with the financing as they include gap coverage in my budget so i was getting the car for 9,995 which is fair market. The transaction on Newell’s end was smooth, with the finance company, not so much after I bought the car, they are rude and annoying already long before the first payment is even due and have nothing but bad reviews but I am probably going to refinance the car next year as suggested by the finance department there because then I will no longer be a first time buyer and can get an even lower rate.
The car drives great and has no major issues and I have taken it on a long trip and hit some back roads in it and it performs great. Love it. Only issues i found with with the car is the stereo will need to be replaced and it could have used an alignment, pulls to the left a little. Otherwise I am a happy customer. i highly recommend Newell auto.

I was in the market for an awd coupe/​sedan Drove a few hours to Martinez and looked at two Audi contenders. It takes a lot of trust to buy a used car but I chose to buy a beautiful A5 from Newell. I’ve had it for two months now and last week my husband took it to the Audi dealership for service. They found nothing wrong with the car. I didn’t bother asking them about the brakes because I had already gone to online forums and learned that audi brakes will squeak until they warm up.
I was very relieved that there was nothing wrong with the car and we learned that the previous owner had purchased a service package so our service was free. A grrrreat deal from Newell.

This place is family owned and they really do not haggle and try to sell you any cars. I test drove my first Audi A6 here and thats when I fell in love with the A6. Originally I wanted the A4 but things happen right? Rich was very nice and very open about the car process and he didn’t try and force me into anything. He knew I loved the Audi A6 especially since I came by 2 days in a row to test drive the vehicle and had low miles at a great price. The only reason I didn’t buy the Audi A6 here is because there was one accident on the car fax report that made me very iffy about the car. I mean if I’m buying an Audi for the first time then I just want to make sure there’s no accidents prior.
If I’m ever in the market for a used vehicle then I will definitely keep them in mind. I would recommend talking to Rich for any information as he was very helpful and understanding with everything.

After my last review, manager Roger took over my customer service. He was the original person I spoke to on the phone who got me to walk through the doors in the first place. His customer service was much more rational, service driven and professional.
Unfortunately, when I came back to pick up the car… you guessed it, more problems arose. The mechanic said this new sounds was «normal» despite me telling them it had not sounded like this previously. Another sweep under the rug… Without going into more detail, seems I just picked a not so great car.
As for the company, the management seems legit… their staff not so much. I only increased to a 2 star because of Roger, but a good company is a sum of all it’s parts and not just reliant on the few good players.
