I don’t usually write reviews unless I am truly impressed by a business or product. In the case of Prestige Motors everything about our experience was terrific, so I wanted to let anyone looking for a used car to know about them. My husband and I have purchased two cars there and had excellent customer service each time. I especially appreciated the fact that there was no pressure and that everyone we dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable. We have been very satisfied with both cars and will definitely come back when we need to buy another one.

I purchased a Mercedes C320 from Prestige over two years ago and found the experience to be both friendly and professional. For those of you rating a dealer based on the nessecary repairs of USED car that you have purchased seems unfair, being that every car comes with a warranty to ensure that you are covered for any possibly «known» issues. In addition to the warranty, they were perfectly willing to allow me to take the car I planned to purchase to a 3^rd party for inspection. I would buy again from Prestige.

Randy tried his level best to give me options and make sure I’d be happy with the wheelchair van I was there to buy. However, I was feeling inflexibly focused on my mission and didn’t take him up on his generous offers. I drove home 2 hours and discovered that the lift and wheelchair space (height of ceiling, in particular) were impossibly small for my husband and his chair. I slowed down and thought over that the previous owner had used it for a CHILD. OH, Duh! damn it. Hindsight is 20/​20, right? So., I called back today and spoke with Randy again, asking him if there was anything he could do to help me. He told me he’d discuss it with his associates and call me back. They’re letting me return the Van and they’re refunding me all but a few hundred for service fees. I really feel they’ve been super fair and even kind. I signed contracts and they didn’t Have to do this, but they’ve saved me from my own stupidity and I’m forever grateful. If you want someone who will try to make sure you’re satisfied and who has a heart, go to Randy at Prestige Motors.

Knowing what you are getting before you get into it is important when dealing with a used car no matter where you buy it from. I thought Randy was professional and courteous, as well as a good negotiator. We live in Redwood City and I requested to have the car checked out by my local mechanic, 60 miles away. He had no problems with us taking the vehicle to get it inspected. After a check off from my mechanic, (5 stars on that review, Garaffo’s, check him out) I returned the car back up to Martinez.
Found a couple of items that needed small work and brought it up with Randy. He drove a hard bargain but ended up working with me. Next day we headed up after work, he closes at 6:30 and we made it up by 7:20. Not only was he courteous in dealing with staying another hour, but he had everything ready for us, all paperwork dialed, and we were on our way. Financing through a credit union is easy at prestige and certainly the way to go, as that is the main financing arm that he deals with. The car is newer with low miles and a single owner prior, so we felt just fine purchasing since both Randy and we knew the history was a bit different than what you could end up with from an auction. Looking forward to the new car and will update after some time driving.

used car dealer so know what your getting into before you buy. If there is something wrong with the car, have them fix it before you buy. I, unfortunately bought TWO cars from this place and both had some issues that I had them promise to repair after the purchase. They grudgingly fixed one car after seeing that i was not just going to go away, the other, well it was too much of a fight (AC needed repair) so i had to swallow the repair costs.
I think this is pretty typical of used car dealers, I mean the equation is pretty simple, buy some cars at a used auction for as little as possible, put the least amount of $ into it and sell it for as much as you can. I guess I can’t be too pissed at them, I mean its their nature but I can throw them out of my address book! I wonder what other used car dealers get for ratings?

Do not buy a vehicle from this dealer! We bought my wife bought a honda civic from them thinking that it was a good buy since it being a honda it was supposed to be reliable. she has had nothing but problems with it. the transmission went out shortly after we bought it. but it was nothing compared to the spark plug being blown completely out of the cylinder head. they were the spark plugs were the ones that were in the car when purchased. i have since known several people who have purchased cars that have malfunctioned very soon after purchase. BUYER BEWARE!
