Found a blonde hair in my strawberry sundae! A very gross and unsanitary staff! Don’t trust this place! The lady also forgot to give my debit card back! Who forgets that !! Very dumb, confused people!

We were there tonight just for ice cream. The restaurant was busy however there was a employee thay was not working hanging out ON the counter, loud and whining about someone threw out her partially eaten ice cream cake from the freezer. A few of the young ladies that were working asked her to leave he since they were busy while others were talking about the pen/ink fight they had earlier tonight. Unfortunately this is one of the few places in the area that has ice cream that is open after 9:30. I understand it is not always easy to employ responsible teens but unfortunately this restaurant does not seem to have managers on duty to keep the kids under control or behaving.

The inside of this place could definitely use some updating. The carpets are worn and from the 80’s. The people are great though and they have never once gotten my order wrong, inside or drive through. Joshua C is right about the specials. You can also sign up online to get coupons, and twice now in the drive thru they’ve stuck an awesome coupon book in my bag.

OMG. I know the owner of this store owns a few other DQ’s in the area… but I am sad to report I am disgusted with this place. I have been a few times thru the drive thru and thought that going into the restaurant would make it better. It didn’t. It smelled like sewer on the inside. I tried to overcome this… The inside is very cute with the little train and tons of kids toys. Then there’s the food. The meat on my cheeseburger was hard… almost stale tasting. I also ordered a Strawberry Lemonade that was soooo sweet I could barely drink it. And STL County Health Inspector was there while I was eating, LOL I wonder how they did… :) I am officially never going back to this Dairy Queen.

Monthly Specials! Yes, it’s a a big company and not unique to St. Louis, but if you have an ice-cream attack, I’d suggest this Dairy Queen. What separates this Dairy Queen from the rest? The two words I began this review with: «Monthly Specials.» Each month, the Dairy Queen in Maryland Heights will select an item and have a good markdown. For example, last month the Peanut Buster Parfait was the special for just $ 1.99(orig. ~$ 3). Man, I absolutely love the combination of soft-serve ice cream with chocolate syrup and peanuts. I’m a sucker for peanuts and chocolate. This month’s special is the a Oreo Brownie Earthquake. I’m always excited to see what the next special will be. Definitely check out this Dairy Queen if you’re in the area. *Note: Remember that my ratings for chains and fast-food restaurants are a different standard because I am comparing them to other restaurants of the same type. Clearly, I’m not saying that this Dairy Queen is on level with Ted Drewes, but it’s consistently great and the monthly specials push it to 5-stars.

This restaurant reminds me of the hundreds of soft-serve ice cream stores I have encountered while traveling the country. The smell of toppings and the hum of the machines is reminiscent of grabbing a cone after watching a parade as a kid. This store is not a pioneer in the world of ice cream joints, but it sure is upholding the traditional expectations folks like me have when ordering a single-dipped cone. They also do well with their burgers and dogs, and they even offer free Wi-Fi. And how can you say no to a place that has an electric train lapping the dining room. Great place!
