Business Owner

Walter «Dub» Smith was a gun enthusiast from an early age, learning to shoot pistols, shotguns, and rifles while growing up.

Eventually Dub joined the navy as an Aviation Warfare Systems Operator, and he was also a member of the Navy’s Special Operations Aviation Rescue Swimmer team. This started him on a path where he trained with various handguns, rifles and also helicopter heavy weapons systems.

Dub volunteered for a tour of duty with the Naval Security Force (NSF). To join, he was required to attend the NSF training program, which is taught by the Marine Corps Security Force Cadre Trainers of the Fleet Anti-​terrorism Security Team (FAST). This was an exciting and fun opportunity to learn advanced tactical firearms skills and also gain real world experience in anti-​terrorism, force protection, and personnel protection.
