Hallock Family Dental

Dr Hallock and the staff are awesome! I’ve needed quite a few services from tooth whitening and cleanings all the way to permanent implants and every experience has been personable, professional and painless. I’ve never experienced a long wait and have been pleased with the results each visit.
The office is comfortable and the treatment areas are private with hi-​tech televisions that can be positioned overhead so I can comfortably watch TV while they work. :) Most importantly, the staff is very competent and caring. I highly recommend them to any family looking for a great dentist!

Dr. Hallock is the answer to my prayers after 6 years in McKinney. After looking for months and months on my IN NETWORK plan and not being able to pronouce the last names of 98% of those listed IN NETWORK I stumble across Dr Hallock (and his wife who is also a dentist in Allen) and he was in our neighborhood in McKinney right by the post office at Linkside Center on Virginia Parkway. You can tell how good a denstist is by his first impression receiption/​greeter. Bonus! Allie is darling and wonderful always so sweet. We asked if we could come by and meet him briefly before we scheduled. He was the ultimate professional. Dr. Hallock has done a filling, and two crowns for me and also did an post implant procedure following my oral surgery. Translates to some sort of hardward that goes on the post so the crown can rest in its new place. I am at last after living here for 6 years finding a hometown dentist that will be ours to keep now. Dr. Hallock has a great chairside humor to keep you at ease and does that sweet «are you doing ok» as he works on your teeth. He always calls to do a follow-​up check on me in the evening when I have the scary work done. My husband and I are Baby Boomers so we are thrilled to find such a good young dentist that can take care of our needs close to home. Check Hallock Dental out. Right from the first call to schedule an appointment, the experience with Hallock Family Denistry has been good. The receptionist was one of the nicest people and very helpful to find an open time.
Being a geek, a fantastic service from Hallock is the online form registration! I didn’t have to show up 30 minutes early to fill out a bunch of paperwork.
The waiting area is quite nice. It’s a large room with plenty of seating. They have a refrigerator with bottle water, or a coffee machine with a wide selection of teas and coffees. I did have to wait a short time to be called back, but I was running a little late and may have thrown off the process.
For cleaning your teeth, they have all the latest equipment. The X-​Ray was some type of electronic gadgets not needing to swap film in your mouth between each snapshot. I was allowed to decide on traditional «scraper» vs. the sonic, tartar buster tool. And for the polishing, the option of the traditional vs. new micro-​power-​wash (polishes in between teeth better).
Dr. Hallock was very personable. He double-​checked my teeth, chatted about any issues and asked about me to know his customer better. He even sent a handwritten, thank you follow-​up note!
The dental hygienist who helped me is trained as a pediatric hygienist. Nice to have on staff for a whole-​family, young-​to-​old dentist.
I’ll be scheduling the rest of the family for a visit!
