Kathy helped us to buy our first home, and she made what could have been a stressful, intimidating, and fraught process into one that was manageable and, at times, even fun. She is tremendously knowledgeable about the Arlington market and has a great eye for value and a home’s potential. Kathy’s savvy, candor, and strategic thinking (on everything from when to buy and how to put together a competitive offer) benefited our decision-​making, and we feel assured that we have not only gotten a good deal, but also the the right home. Kathy went above and beyond — guiding us through the important considerations of buying, maintaining, and improving a home. We took six months to find a house that we loved and never felt pressured along the way to look at or do anything we didn’t feel entirely comfortable with. You won’t find a harder-​working, more service-​oriented real estate team in Northern VA than Beall & Rehill. They worked patiently with us over a several month period to help us find our «forever home» in Arlington. Once we found that home, Alex and Kathy put all their efforts preparing our old house for the spring market (which included complimentary staging advice and services, exceptional photography and marketing strategy). In the process, they listened to us and marketed our house just as we wanted, yet offered sound advice when needed. Jeff’s negotiating skills and cool persona make any transaction less stressful. I highly recommend Beall & Rehill whether you are buying or selling a house.

Jeff and the Beall Team helped us buy and sell our home in Bellevue Forest. No one knows Arlington better! The Staging Team did a beautiful job on our house, preparing it for sale. The photography they arranged was gorgeous — which had a direct impact on the traffic for the Open House. Through each step of the buying and selling process (which was stressful at times), Jeff and his crew were upbeat and helpful in keeping our deals on track. Highly recommend!

So I waited 6 months to make my review as we all know that buying a home does not end at the closing. This property was my third home purchase and after dealing with other realtors in my previous transactions, I wanted to evaluate their follow up and response to cleaning up the odds and ends of a home purchase after they started focusing on their other clients.
Executive summary: The Beall team are consummate professionals. They are the firm one should select if looking to sell or buy in the Arlington area due to their extensive knowledge (schools, neighborhoods, amenities), professional demeanor, off hour availability, high ethical standards and good client followup. I try not to give out many 5 stars but the Beall team deserves it for the work that they do, their advice on many issues and experience they bring to the table.
We first discovered the Beall team (Kathy) when we went to an open house they were hosting. Having been to multiple open houses, we were pleasantly surprised at the wealth of information about the home, the neighborhood, schools and local amenities mentioned in our brief conversation. This level of interaction and details about the home was something that we had not come across in other open houses and it made an impression on us.
When it came time to sell our home, we interviewed two firms, the Beall team (who is associated with Remax Distinctive) and Redfin. In talking with the firms, the advantage of Redfin is that they give back a portion of the commission upon the sale or purchase of a home. Our experience with Redfin (on a previous home for sale) was that they are spread over a wider area and are generalists who don’t necessarily know the details of an area, school reputations or neighborhood information. After meeting with the Beall team, we knew that we would use them as our realtors. They (Kathy, Jeff and Alex) work as a team, know the area market, know the issues with various school districts and they know Arlington and the surrounding region.
Part of their service is to bring in an interior designer to help stage the home. Their suggestions opened up the flow in the home and made our living room much more inviting. Jeff and Alex also brought over an extra bed for us to use so that an extra room we had would look like a bedroom. It was little things like this that we liked about the Beall team.
I previously mentioned the high ethical standards and experienced this first hand with Jeff. He wanted to bring to my attention a potential issue which could potentially cost him the sale depending upon our response. I find this quite admirable to know that they were upfront and honest with me and made me respect the professional nature of the team even more. My wife and I also liked them as individuals. They are friendly, hard working and easy to talk to.
There are many realtors out there. Some great, some good and some not so good. Interview a few to get a feel but remember to include the Beall team on your shortlist. They are, without a doubt, one of the great ones.

The Beall Team is undoubtedly the best real estate team I have found by far (and I’ve sold a number of houses)! I had already moved to San Francisco when I commissioned them to sell our house in Arlington. From the moment I met the Team, I had the confidence and trust that I could turn over the entire project to them and they would not miss a beat. The three of them, Kathy, Jeff and Alex complement one another’s strengths so well. Kathy had the research behind their recommendations on pricing, timing, etc. The Team recommended some cosmetic changes and staging of the house, which made all the difference in the world! Alex did an excellent job supervising the whole process. They even reimbursed me for the cost at closing! That is how confident they are when they recommend that staging results in a quick sale. And it sure worked for us: we got an offer after our first open house! The buyers even commented on the impact the staging had on them. The Beall Team coordinated the cosmetic changes, the repairs that needed to be done before closing, and supervised all the service providers while I was across the country!!! How much more service-​oriented can you expect from a real estate agent? I also must commend Jeff in his negotiating and closing skills. He was quite diplomatic and skilled in moving the process through to closing. There are a lot of technical details that he knew like the back of his hand, that protected our interests all along the way. I whole-​heartedly recommend this Team – you won’t be disappointed!
