Inspiring Test Preparation specializes in middle school and high school science, math, and writing and PSAT, SAT (old and redesigned), ACT, PLAN, SSAT, ISEE, HSPT, and TJ admissions testing.

History

Established in 2015.

The company is new but the staff is experienced; owner, Kate (Dalby) vanSchaick, co-​founded Dalby Tutoring over 25 years ago. She is instrumental in developing many of its programs including the highly successful TJ admissions test preparation.

She is joined by former Dalby students and now tutors, Caroline Hesse and Ben Tran, and writer/​instructor Natalie Villacorta.

Business Owner

Kate Dalby, as co-​founder of Dalby Tutoring, Inc., has tutored literally thousands of students in Northern Virginia since 1985. Best known for her SAT and TJ admissions test preparation, she also tutors ACT, PSAT, HSPT, and SSAT.

A magna cum laude graduate of SUNYAlbany in Spanish (Chemistry minor) she has a background that serves STEM and non-​STEM alike. She and her team are ready to help high school students in math, science, and essay writing in addition to standardized test preparation.
