Help You Move

These guys were simply wonderful. Scheduled my move within a week, arrived on time, handled my stuff with care (absolutely no damage which is so rare!), and moved everything into my new house (up a full flight of stairs to boot!). Tyler, Anthony, and Francisco were professional, personable, and very efficient completing my 30 mile move in just 4 hours! Price was incredibly reasonable too! Would definitely recommend these guys!

Wow this is a long time coming, but it’s been on my to-​do list for nearly a year so I’d better get to it because I appreciated the help so much. I will never move myself again. They made it so hassle free! Professional, efficient, chill. The two guys who came out worked tirelessly, fueled by energy drinks :). I felt awful because I hadn’t thought to get cash for a tip for them (and was super broke from buying my new house and I think the move cost about $ 500 so I was strapped for cash.) The least I could do was buy them a big lunch and write a good review. Will DEFINITELY use them again. Thank you all for the good service!

The BEST! I had a personal conversation with Natalie about a month before booking and that’s when I made my mind up. They showed up right on time — 2 great guys who worked very easily and well together and no smoking or breaks over 4 hours! Very professional and very rewarding. I love these guys! I will never beg friends to help me move again — using these guys every time. I was in a pinch and had to move my entire house to storage asap. Natalie was able to squeeze me in on the exact day I needed and was friendly, informative, and sympathetic to my situation. John and his son arrived the day of the move and were friendly, professional, and extremely efficient. They were gentler with my belongings than my friends and family ever have been! They worked calmly and steadily with no breaks the entire four hours — both loading and then following me to my storage unit and unloading — and finished exactly at the minimum time I had booked.
The one weird bad review on here must be by a crazy person. Lovely people with lovely work ethic. I was very impressed and will be using them again this summer!

We sold our house with a 2 week escrow so had to get out ASAP. Help You Move was a godsend. Southern Oregon Relocation Services packed everything up and Help You Move loaded our 3 PODs.

I was very impressed with the young men who came to help with our move. They were polite and efficient. We had things that needed to be delivered to two local destinations and everything was accomplished in less than 2 hours. I hired ‘Help You Move’ to help with the big and heavy items, including a spinet piano. The guys arrived on time and were friendly, careful and efficient throughout the day. I was very happy with their attitudes and willingness to please. The move would have been much more difficult without their help.

We have used Help You Move’s services four times, over two years. Each time they have done a terrific job. They are on time, careful, knowledgeable, and also a very nice and good-​humored team. Scheduling was easy, and communications were impeccable. Moving everything from heavy appliances, to more delicate items such as pictures and mirrors, they work quickly yet carefully to ensure nothing is damaged while being moved, or while being stored.
While we hope we won’t need moving services anytime soon, if we do, they will be our first call!

What an outstanding experience we had with Help You Move! They took the stress out of moving day! We rented the truck, they showed up with all the padding, blankets, etc. and packed our boxes, furniture and belongings treating everything with caution and care. I didn’t need to worry about a thing. They arrived at our new home and unpacked everything. Placed the furniture where we wanted it and gladly rearranged it when it didn’t quite ‘look good there’! I was downsizing, and searching for muscle in my move. I read reviews on Unilocal to make up my mind and chose Help You Move. I’m so glad I did! From my phone call to the last good-​bye, they were nothing buy helpful, considerate and respectful. The guys were right on time, rolled out runners in my house to avoid walking on the carpeting much, friendly and listened and understood I had some antique pieces that I was concerned about. I provided the UHaul truck, they brought everything else – padding, belts, etc. They certainly know how to pack a truck. Since I was downsizing, I had two stops to make. One to my new home and one to a storage unit down the street. First they unloaded my belongings, and I overestimated what would fit, so after taking it off the truck, some things they put back ON the truck. No grumbling from them. Very nice, pleasant guys. Then on to the storage unit, which they made very accessible for me among all the boxes. I was very happy with my experience and would always call them again. Not one scratch on anything. Don’t be put off by any review written by a third party that didn’t actually go through the move.

This is the third time that I have used Help You Move; and I think that in itself is a positive recommendation. The «team» (Tyler, Anthony and Natalie) have helped us accomplish our move and furniture arrangement in our home. They are always on time, very careful and patient with all that we ask them to do. I highly recommend them, and appreciate them!

The guys at HELP U MOVE made my moving day go so smoothly and completely non-​stressful. I didn’t realize just how uptight I was about this move until it was all over and my sore neck and shoulders revealed my tension. The last time I moved I lost several pictures and my furniture acquired numerous new scratches because the movers were soooo careless. But the boys at HELP U MOVE were EXTREMELY careful about wrapping everything in pads and packing it safely in the moving truck. The boys were very personable and conscientious when I voiced a concern. I was very impressed when they laid pads on all the traffic areas so as not to soil my new carpets. A person just couldn’t ask for a better moving experience. These guys know what they are doing and go above and beyond every step of the way. I will ALWAYS use HELP U MOVE and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to hire movers. Thanks guys, you are very much appreciated by this customer!!!

I used Help You Move to load up for a long-​distance move (375 miles).
They were prompt and courteous during the load process, and generally careful. Just a couple things were damaged (scratched furniture and such), but overall no significant problems.
Using Help You Move, renting and driving a truck (26′ Penske), and hiring someone to unload saved about half over Mayflower and North American, and much better service. These people want your business, and it shows.

We packed our own boxes, got our own truck, and Help You Move came out and moved the boxes and furniture into the truck, and then moved our belongings into our new home.
The very first contact we had with this company was with Natalie. She gave us an over the phone estimate. She was thorough, professional, nice, and helpful. You couldn’t ask for more! She was very clear of what we needed to do on our end before moving day, and was clear about what the expectations of Help You Move would be. Natalie gave really great service.
Two days before the move I got a call from Natalie making sure that everything was a go on our end. She reminded me that Help You Move brings all the furniture pads and dollies that we would need. So not only are these guys professional and hard working, they bring all the extra equipment and supplies with them! If I was to rent the amount of pads they used and the two dollies that would have cost me an extra $ 75 – 100! What a great service they provide. Seriously, they used probably 40 – 50 furniture pads. They took really good care of our things.
On moving day, John, his son, and one other mover showed up on our doorstep ready to work, promptly on time. They immediately got to work. They were positive, friendly, helpful, and professional. We were running a little behind and had not done some of the little things like clean up toys. One of my first meetings with John was there in my living room, on his hands and knees cleaning up my son’s army guys. That right there showed me what type of guy John is. He is down to earth and friendly, but he is also so professional and runs a tight ship. What great traits in the owner of a company.
We were quoted to have two guys to come and move us and THREE showed up! When I asked John about this he just said «I wanted to make sure we took good care of you and got this move done quickly.» Man how AWESOME is that!?! These three guys were hired by the hour, which made me nervous, but those fears were laid to rest immediately. These three guys were like work horses! They stopped here and there just to drink water and have a snack. I was seriously impressed with their work ethic and strength! And this comes from a woman that was raised on a farm… I know how to WORK and don’t stop until everything is done. These guys really impressed me. My husband was just as impressed too.
Help You Move packed up the whole truck, which was hard for me to relinquish my control with this. I kept a close eye on them, making sure they were taking care of my things… especially the boxes that were marked fragile. They took AMAZING care of all the boxes and furniture. They packed the truck extremely well and efficiently. I got the biggest truck and wanted only one trip. Because of the great job these guys did we had only one trip! We had a lot of stuff and they packed it supremely well. Furniture pads were used on things that I didn’t even think needed furniture pads, but I guess they know best. NOTHING got scratched, dented, or broken. This was the best move we have ever had and it’s because of Help You Move!!!
They packed up our truck and then went to our new home to unpack it. I was sure their work ethic might decrease a little bit because of the 2 hours they had already put in — HARD WORK! But that was not the case. They pushed through with serious efficiency and speed and strength, and yet were still so careful with our things. Like I said before, the only downside to this whole experience was that boxes clearly marked for one room were put in another (5 – 9 in each room). We had to go on a couple scavenger hunts trying to find a few boxes. I did call John about this and he apologized and said he would for sure talk to his guys about this. They did have a new guy with them on our new day (training) and so maybe that is where the issue was. Whatever it was, John said he was going to get on it and talk to all his employees about it. Once again… great professionalism. John, the owner of the company, listened to my suggestions and really took them to heart. I’m sure the next time we use them this won’t even be an issue.
Man, what an amazing company! I’m not used to working with small town Mamma and Pop businesses, and this was a really great experience. I’m glad I was able to stay local and help out a local company here. You can’t beat the customer service and the price! Thanks to John, Natalie, and the whole crew! You guys gave us a really great move!!! I will be using you the next time we move and would strongly recommend them to all friends and family. Use Help You Move for your next move. John and Tyler are the very best packers I have ever seen. I am a military brat and was in the airlines for 27 years, so I have moved a lot. Trust me when I say they are the best. They were quick, efficient, and took. meticulous care of my items.
