Went here for a gel manicure, they took me on time for my appointment which is great. However, the paint job on the french manicure was really not good. The lines were not clear, the paint blurred into the nail and some nails had the white straight across. I also was floored when they said it was $ 35 which is extremely expensive in my opinion(especially because the board reflected a gel manicure was $ 20!!). I will now have to go to my regular salon which I should have gone to in the first place. I told them I was unhappy and would like a refund since I will now have to sit through getting them done again at my regular salon and I was told this wasn’t possible since the job was«done». They offered to fix them but I didn’t have another 90 minutes to get them done over again there, nor did I want to. I told them they are more than welcome to take the polish off and I would leave with nothing to get my money back. They still said«no». Very expensive and sub par work– I will not be back.

Having recently moved from NYC, I was in search of a great nail salon with decent prices. Enter: Kim’s Nails. We went on 10÷4÷14 at 4:30pm I found Kim’s Nails through Unilocal and decided to check it out as it was right down the street from my apartment. I called and made an appointment for two for a gel manicure and 1 pedicure. Did i mention this was my fiancé’s first time getting a pedicure? He was so anxious. At 4:30 we walked in and were immediately seated, they ACTUALLYFOLLOWAPPOINTMENTS! YAY! My manicurist was friendly and SOGOOD! She cleaned up my cuticles really well and left me with a gorgeous shellac manicure. My fiancé had the real transformation. He had really rough, dry and cracked feet. His pedicurist scrubbed his feet and removed all of the callouses and dead skin. She did such an incredible job that his feet were as soft as a baby’s butt, and his feet were so pink from the scrub. He kept raving about how clean and soft his feet were. The big wow moment, this calloused bump of dry skin had been removed, incredible. My hesitant and resistant fiancé left and scheduled his next pedicure for November. Thanks Kim’s Nails!

Right around the corner from where I live. Family-owned, excellent service. I highly recommend if you want a mani-pedi exactly the way you like it.

This is a great place to go to for an affordable manicure! They do great gel manicures, taking their time to make sure the manicure is perfect and my gels always last the full 2 weeks. Kim is great but Yen is also a great nail technician. Highly recommend Kim’s Nails!

I came here because Perfect Nails down the street was too busy, poorly lit, and poorly ventilated. Plus if you try to call either of their numbers found through Unilocal/Google, nobody picks up. I’m happy I came by! Kim’s Nails was a much more comfortable environment, and the staff were friendly and diligent. It only cost $ 37 for a manicure & pedicure, which was very reasonable; they were also generous with the massage time as well. I don’t get my nails done frequently, but I would definitely come back here. A minor inconvenience is that they can’t take tips on credit cards, so do bring some cash with you.

It’s now called Kim’s Nails, apparently«N» got booted I really like this place. They do a great job, but if you get acrylics, you have to get Kim! She does them perfectly, and the other girls mess them up. I couldn’t get Kim a few times and eventually the nails weren’t sealed right and I had to take them off :(
