Look, this is a hole in the wall liquor store — keep your expectations normal. You want booze and scratch tickets? Go here. You want a neighborhood small regular olé liquor store, go here. If you need more, go to downtown Medford. They dont have delivery, they wont stand and explain which wines are best to pair with your fillet mignon… just come buy your booze? They have a freezer full of capri sun like liquors in pouches and if you keep your expectations normal youll get what you need. It isnt huge, it isnt small, it gets the job done. Standout feature: they have a whole glass case of cigars if you want to relive any scenes from The Godfather.

I’ve lived in the area for about a year now and always find this liquor store open. The hours, really can’t be beat. Especially since I live just a few blocks over. Just the other day while we were getting hit with a ridiculous(yes another!) snow storm, I decided if I was going to be snowed in I might as well be tanked while doing it. So I trudged over hoping they wouldn’t be closed, and thankfully they were still open. The man behind the counter(or at least most of the employees) usually recognize me and small talk it up with me. I’m mostly just a wine and beer kind of girl. Every once in a while I’ll want a mixed drink, but not very often. Their selection isn’t the biggest, but I always find something I want here. As far as neighborhood liquor stores go, this one ain’t half bad.

I used to work here and the owner is a little rough around the edges. When I was there he had a cheat sheet behind the counter of how much profit he made off of each sale. 20 percent on nips etc. The prices are bad but he stocks enough craft beer to make it an OK stop if your on foot. Most people that buy here are under age and the rest are neighborhood people not wanting to drive down the street to Kappy’s.

This store doesnt have as big of a selection as some other stores because its a bit smaller in size, but the people who work there will make sure you leave with something you like. They have your standard wines and liquors though so as long as you arent looking for something obscure, they will probably have what you want. They even have some white wines in the fridge so you can start enjoying a cold glass of wine as soon as you get home!
