Medford Self Storage

Clean, secure, organized, with friendly staff. I was hesitant to use this storage facility because of the limited business hours compared to other facilities. Ultimately I decided on this place due to the great reviews and have not regretted it.

We were in need of a 20×24 storage and had to reserve it long ahead of time. they were fantastic to work with, and would use them again.

I rented out a 10’x10’ unconditioned unit for two months in September and August. The space is super clean and well-​ventilated (you’ll see fans circulating air everywhere), and the staff is very friendly. There are carts you can borrow for free on-​site to help you transport your belongings from the car/​truck dock to your storage unit so you don’t need to bring your own dolly. I rarely had problems finding space at the dock to unload heavy items, and only once out of 30-​or-​so trips were all the carts and loading docks in use.
Like other reviewers have mentioned, the working hours are basically day-​time hours only, which is simultaneously great (for security) and not-​so-​great (you can’t try to access the space in the middle of the night). All people entering and exiting need to sign in, which I think is a good security measure.
The only minor complaint I have is that the hallways can only accommodate one transport cart (it’s about four feet across), so when other storage users inconsiderately left all their belongings in the hallway, I had to find detours to get to my storage unit. It wasn’t terrible, as the detour only made my journey longer by a few feet, but I can imagine that if the storage facility ever had more customers trying to access their units at the same time, it might be a little hard to navigate to your unit. BUT I have never rented a storage unit elsewhere, so it might be the case that all storage facilities have similar layouts and hallway space and that this is not unusual.
The price was reasonable — I payed ~$ 170/​month for two months, and this included $ 3000 insurance, which was something like a $ 13 add-​on. Just check out their website or call for more details? They’re very friendly on the phone, too. I’d definitely recommend this facility to people looking to store their belongings (look at the abysmal reviews left for the other local storage facilities).

This is the best self storage place i’ve been to. The facility is nice and clean and the staff are very pleasant, helpful and hospitable. I will only use Medford Self Storage for storing needs in the future.

Great place… very secure. If you care about the stuff you’re storing this is the place to be. Also, the staff is extremely helpful.
Although it is a big NO NO in the industry, one of the staff ended up helping me disassemble a shelf and help me put it in the truck. That’s unheard of in a «self» storage company.
Def will use them again.

Really can’t say enough great things about this place. If you’ve ever been in a storage facility you know the drill: row upon row of nameless doors and locks. Nothing special… but this place actually makes me smile. It’s pristine (don’t try it but you might be able to eat off the floors), it’s in a safe, well-​lit area, it’s owned and managed by people who are control freaks in the best sense. They take pride in the fact that they know the faces of their customers and that puts me at ease because these are the gatekeepers who are keeping your belongings safe. They aren’t open 24 hours, but I’ve never needed to visit my boxes at 3am and, as the owner points out, they also don’t have break ins because they’re only open during normal business hours. I’m a new mom who never visited without my baby in tow and I’ve always felt like it was a safe place to bring my daughter. Truly a wonderful business with class.

I’m very pleased with Medford self storage. I used them only for a month, but the experience was flawless — everything is well organized, easy access, the facilities are clean and well lit. The staff is very helpful, courteous and attentive. They answered all my questions (and i had many) and i always felt like i’m getting personal attention. If you’re looking for great customer service, reasonable prices and easy access this is the place to go.
