We needed the exterior of our house painting, and after 5 different quotes, Gerry’s was the best (by far). They were able to schedule us in 2 weeks, and completed the job on time. Gerry & crew did an amazing job and worked very fast — impressing us and the neighbors too (some of whom will be getting their houses painted by Gerry). They returned for touch ups quickly & finished the job. They prepared and cleaned up the site with great speed and detail. I recommend them for all painting & remodeling work — you can’t go wrong.

We were referred to Gerry by a neighbor and hired him to paint the exterior of our home before we put it up for sale. Gerry, his son Kyle and the entire crew were professional, neat and fast. They did such a good job we immediately hired him again to paint the interior of our new home. Once again, we were not disappointed in Gerry and his crew’s work. They wallpapered 2 rooms and prepped and painted the entire house top to bottom. They returned to do some touch ups and to complete the wallpapering (my fault… I didn’t order enough!). Gerry quickly returned my calls, came in early and on weekends and was a pleasure to work with.

We had a VERY LONG list of work done in our 1910 Boston-​area house during 2 weeks in July and Aug. 2011. Per written proposal we hired Gerry’s team to: Move furniture to the center of each room and take down draperies, Strip old wallpaper from 7 rooms, remove ’60’s wood paneling from 3 rooms, repair entire plaster cieling (sagging) and wall plaster in 5 rooms (mostly done by Kinsale team), cut and install new baseboard molding in 1 room, patch walls in 11 rooms before primer coat, two layers of finish coat (paint) in 11 rooms and all window and door casements, paint cielings of 10 rooms, wash windows of each room being repainted, wallpaper ‘wainscoting’ hung in kitchen, scrape and repaint indoor– wrought-​iron railings, remove and replace porch-​steps-​lumber-​treads, trim several closet doors for friction-​free operation, add an acrylic splash guard near the kitchen sink, & return for final touchups a few weeks after our flooring workers did their extensive flooring work. Plus, a couple items of work were added as we went. Gerry and his team did a great job and provided certificates of insurance, all at a very reasonable price. Yes, there were a couple very MINOR items damaged (paint spatter on raincoat inside closet) or broken (glass cieling lampshade-​easily replaced) during this huge project, which we took in stride. We will definitely rely on him in the future for those home improvements and repairs that we can’t handle ourselves.

We needed an entry room painted and after getting the estimate, he was able to do the work with in a few days. He did patch work too and came back to check on it.
While he was here, we mentioned in passing that our toilet had been running and he connected with our landlord to set up a second appt to replace the toilet the following week.
Two birds, one stone.
From what I understand he was very affordable — but it all went through the landlord.
Clean up was pretty good, there was a little left over for us to do, but not bad all things considered (short notice, pricing, etc).

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our landlord hired these guys to replace a sagging, leaking ceiling. Since the work was messy, they scheduled to do it while we’d be away on vacation. We came home to find: the toilet seat up with urine all over it and dried urine on the floor, dirty coffee cups left on beloved family furniture, plaster dust *everywhere* in every room despite the fact that Gerry had assured us that all rooms would be *sealed off* (based on how much dust got in the rooms, they were definitely not sealed), bootprints on the recliner part of our couch, our cable box unplugged from the wall despite nearby available outlets. a *huge* gouge in our nearly new dining room table, a hole in our wall from «falling ceiling.» And if all of that wasn’t enough, our heating bill was about 20% higher for the month while they were working despite the fact that we went away for the week. We were compensated for the gouge in the table (reluctantly, I might add) but truly, given how disrespectfully they treated our apartment and how filthy they left it, they should also be covering the cost of the cleaning service we are paying to come in and clean up their mess (they’re not). I can’t disrecommend them enough.
