Renato has the most gorgeous marble slabs of every single color that is possible in nature. He even has some rare pieces that are museum quality — he just might not be willing to let it go so easily!
We came to Renato’s shop in Medford at least 5 times before making any purchase. We were considering using carrara marble slabs for our master shower when we first came to Renato. He was very friendly, and patient, and took the time to explain the quality and pricing and didn’t hesitate to show us alternatives that were more costly to give us a basis for comparison. In the end, we purchased high quality staturario marble tiles from him and also picked out a gray calculatta slab for our bathtub wall.
It’s the installation where Renato really shines. Every bathroom that he takes part in becomes a work of art for him. He didn’t just hand us the slabs and leave. He actually worked with our general contractor to decide what’s the best way to piece together the slabs (e.g. bookmatch ends etc) and even cut the remaining marble into pieces to tile the surround. Take a look at my uploaded pics. Not every marble supplier or fabricator will take the time to do this for a customer. It takes time, and creative thought, and countless of visits to get it right.
One slight downside is that Renato is always late, because he’s essentially the owner, designer, fabricator, and sales person in one, so he’s always quite busy. But he keeps to his word to show up when he says so, you just need to adjust your time to wait a little longer. Despite this, it’s worth the wait. We would still give Renato 5 stars for the quality of his product and customer service!
