Bath and Company

We were doing a renovation on a tiny bathroom so our options were quite limited. We did the obligatory HD and Lowes walk through and being rather unimpressed headed to Bath and Co based on Unilocal reviews.
They have a selection of items beyond that of the banal mainstream big box stores and the quality of what they carries seems higher than what we had seen,
The owner Roberto has the patience of a saint. This was our first bathroom rehab project and we didn’t know what we were doing. We went in several times for lengthy periods and never once did he seemed inconvenienced nor did he try to rush or pressure us in any way.
Things are a little more expensive than at Meglocorp Enterprises but they offer many discounts and they seem flexible on their prices. Considering that with the added benefit of working with the same person who seems genuinely invested in your project makes it well worth it.
You hear a lot about supporting small local businesses. Here is a perfect opportunity.

After searching a lot of overpriced granite stores, we found Bath and Company. For a somewhat small store, we were impressed by both the selection and price. For the granite we wanted, their price could not be beat. The staff was also very helpful and showed a real commitment to customer service that can be difficult to find. We ended up purchasing both granite and tile from the store.
As for the installation, another reviewer put it best, it was flawless. We are very happy with the way our countertop turned out. The installer did a terrific job.

After a grueling few months of excuses and overpricing and crane requests to get my granite island piece into my condo I stumbled on Bath and Company. One week later I have an exact match, a great price and no crane required. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Even the installation was perfect. They got it into my place with 4 guys, no dents or scratches on the walls, I really cannot say enough about them.

I was remodeling the whole first floor and it included the installation of granite counters. I researched various outfits throughout Massachusetts extensively before visiting Bath and Co. The first vendor I visited had slightly lower prices and was located fairly close to Bath and Co. However their reviews were absolutely abominable and I just could not justify using their services based on the abundance of negative customer feedback. If you are researching granite company’s in the area you know the outfit to which I am referring. However, the Bath and Co prices were in the same neighborhood and I immediately felt reassured after communicating with the owner (Roberto) in his Meadow Glen Mall showroom. It’s an odd location for a granite company but they had everything I needed and a great selection of tile as well. Roberto even gave me his cell phone for better communication, they followed through when they said on both the measurement date and installation date.
Just about everything was cut perfectly. The only hiccup was the that the standard 4″ back-​splash was too tall and hit the trimwork under the window above my sink. Bath and Co took the back-​splash and returned later that week with it cut perfectly to accommodate the window trim. My house is old and not every line is straight. They even accommodated a slight unevenness when cutting the back-​splash piece. I wish every vendor I used during my renovation was as easy to use as Bath and Co. I was extremely pleased with their price, communication and final product.

I am in the midst of doing a pretty good size renovation project at my place, including a full rehab of a bathroom. I’ve walked by this place a few times in the mall (which is kind of a weird spot for this place, but it’s also very noticeable being the first storefront when you walk in the main doors). Walked in here once & looked around, did the rounds at Home Depot & Lowes… ended up going back, because they had seemingly nice stuff. From the start, I wanted the bath rehab to be done nicely, not just using basement-​bin stuff from aisle 7 at Home Depot.
They really exceeded my expectations for a couple of reasons: for one, it’s not a HUGE store, but they have a good size selection of tiles, beyond what you first see, including stuff HD doesn’t carry. Second, the people were very helpful. I was in there a couple of different times, spending well over an hour with Jess, who cheerfully showed me different options, offering opinions on color combinations, ect. There was never any pressure at all to buy, and she even offered to have me send her pictures of the bathroom in it’s current state so she could get a better idea of what I’m working with.
I ended up buying tiles & a vanity from them, and everything just went smooth. Tiles came in, they had no problem holding on to them for a few days before I could get down there and pick them up.
Definitely would recommend it if you’re looking for something a higher quality than just cheap tile & fixtures, they don’t sell the dirt cheap stuff. And the personal service was way above what you’ll get at the big stores!
