24 Hour Fitness

Pretty sure this place is closed.

Now this location is closed due to fire sprinkler flooding and they don’t know when it will reopen. Maybe they will have to install new equipment. That’s probably asking too much. This is 24 hour fitness.

Had the lock cut from my locker, and a few things stolen. According to the police officer I spoke with, this, along with car break ins, is a recurring problem here. Management has no plans to improve security. Stay away.
Update:
Closed for almost a week now because of water damage. Asked local staff if this month was going to be pro-​rated, got referred to national customer service. Asked customer service, got referred back to local staff. Also managed to find out that my incident report from earlier had been thrown away/​never filed. Garbage. Canceling membership immediately.

Terrible. Everything is broken or very close to it. I was a member for only two months and the lock on my gym locker was cut once, and attempted once more (I had the cut-​proof one the second attempt). When I told the front desk people I was told «that sucks» before they turned around to continue their conversation about an unknown person’s appearance. Please save your time and money and find a better gym.

While the steam room has been repaired the sauna is still looking pretty bad. I am eager to see if it will be repaired before the summer. Still does not appear as though anyone has scrubbed the windows, tile and floors though.
Many of the other various cleanliness issues have still not been resolved. There are layers of dust all over the walls and ceilings. In the ladies locker room there is probably an inch thickness of dust on the sprinklers and AC vents. My allergies go nuts every time I work out. I don’t care what anyone says due to what I witness every single time I go to the gym I am convinced there is no cleaning crew.
I have since joined a new gym, it costs me less money a month and I have the joy of using brand new state of the art equipment. And there are great perks like free tanning, free massage chairs, free aqua massage beds AND free personal training. The machines are constantly being wiped down by patrons and staff, something of which I never see patrons do at this gym, let alone the staff. There is no funky odor when you walk in and the dressing room is immaculate! I feel energized when I leave, not sickened or saddened. Maybe one day corporate will wake up and 24 hour fitness will not be treated like a forgotten child anymore and get some much needed love.

as a gym regular for decades, been to many all across California and nevada, in that light I give this place ⁵⁄₅ as pretty clean with pretty new equipment. access to equipment was good, no waits, even around the 5−7pm supposed rush.
its pretty cool overall with good parking availability.

This place is NASTY…
I worked out here for a long time just because there weren’t any other good options at the time. The management sucks. The floors are filthy. They took away towel service years ago. My car has been broken into twice while working out here. And, if that wasn’t enough, I FOUND A USED CONDOM IN THE MENS SHOWER. That is not a lie… I couldn’t make that up even if I wanted to.
In most markets, 24 Hour Fitness is OK, maybe the WalMart of gyms. But this location is the flea market of gyms. The crowd goes from ok at times to ‘when did you get out of the joint?’ other times. And to the person that rated this place 5 stars… what were you basing this rating on? Good God I would hate to see your standards on other stuff!
The main lesson: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. If not, you could get your car broken into, catch something nasty from their disgusting floor, and meet some interesting people in the shower. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

It’s a dirty second rate gym that is on 24hr amateur hour. No equipment is put back, there is no gym etiquette here. The people training have novice to beginner knowledge of how to workout. It’s a bro science culture in there. Too bad no one has a clue how to train. I’ve been in more gyms then the average Joe. This place is definitely in the farm leagues of being even close to a respectable gym.

The elliptical machines 1, 4, and 5 are out of repair and needs attention.

I’m pretty sure that 5-​star review is a marketing person affiliated with 24 Hour Fitness. I’ve never seen a gym with such a dingy looking floor. In some spots the carpet is worn through to the underlying base flooring. In other spots dirt stains abound. Weights are strewn across the gym with little to no organization. Machines are packed in together tightly next to each other. Some of the stopper pieces on the weight machines (e.g. leg press machine) are broken to the point of me questioning safety. I was able to get in a good workout, but I would not pay for a membership with the better options available.

Machines well maintained and a very polite crowd. Try to work out here every trip to Memphis.

This facility is excellent. It is designed to be a gym and has lots for everybody. Great staff, easy check-​in, clean locker room and showers. I recommended checking it out and staying in-​touch with their many specials (like if you check-​in with Unilocal,you get 10 free days — Awesome!).

It used to be a great club when it was The Q. Now it’s okay but most of the patrons aren’t very considerate of others and the staff doesn’t do much about it. All in all the facilities are good if you can tolerate the inconsideration of the other members.

Why the hell are the light so dim that I feel like I’m in a strip club, yet there is no hot girls anywhere to be found?
Look, having to work out while on vacation is depressing enough, then you add dim lighting and concrete walls, voila, you are in a dungeon!
