Not very responsive when first arrived. For whatever reason they thought I was doing a takeout. Finally seated but took 30 minutes to take order. Waitress did a good job. Laura was very attentive. Food was good.

Ordered breakfast around 9 and didn’t get my food til 10ish. I was really upset bc they are normally great at to go orders but this time, NOPE. The store manager, Chris, refunded my ticket and apologized a million times but it wasn’t his fault but glad the manager took care of it. Beside the food being extremely late the customer service was excellent. Next time prolly just go inside to eat.

Was a bit of a seating confusion because the hostess was gone but was sat with a very nice young server, he kept our drinks refilled and constantly checked on us. The food came out fast and was very delicious. The service was very hospitable and great all around.

Was very pleased with the service and food today. We were seated quickly and the food was brought out hot and promptly, plus the server never let my coffee get cold or empty. Not a lot of breakfast places to choose from in the area so I am happy that I have found a place to go any day of the week.

Went the other day and sat for at least 20 min, not a single person waited on us or even acknowledged us. Terrible since I really wanted pancakes.

Food took a long time to come. Waitress seemed to be quite overwhelmed. Got the buttermilk fried chicken and it was dry. Other person got sirloin steak and it was dry. Other 2 got salads that were fine. Normal cracker barrel fare just a little slower.

Jaris was our server and did a great job. He was very attentive and friendly. My eggs in the basket were perfect. Hash brown casserole was delicious as usual. This was a great breakfast!

Subpar service and mediocre food. Didn’t expect more but somehow I always leave Cracker Barrel very disappointed. What was really stupid was being sat at a table and being told ten minutes later that we needed to switch tables because the hostess messed up and our table was needed to sit a party of 8. Never thought I would take a walk of shame in a Cracker Barrel. Next time, I’ll just go to Waffle House down the street.

Poorly managed. Dirty tables and the server kept disappearing. We saw the manager, once, who just came out with a little notepad and scribbled some stuff on it and walked away. Most tables didn’t have drinks yet and it was pretty obvious people had been sitting there. The hostess seemed like we bothered her when we walked up. There was no, «good evening» or anything like that. She just looked at us and said, «two.» And led us to a table. There was only one cashier checking us out. So it seems no matter what you do in the place you’ll be waiting for it. Pretty disappointing.

This is the best place if you are craving dinner for breakfast. I had three big well prepared pancakes and crispy lean bacon and cheesy potato casserole. The server was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean with an interesting décor. I would love to go back.

This is the worst Cracker Barrel I have ever been at. The staff is completely disengaged and the management seemingly could care less. Keep going there are more cracker barrels in both directions.

The food is pretty good and the folks are generally super nice. I gave them a ratings hit mostly because of logistical reasons. Getting seated is slow unless you’re absolutely the only one there. The prices are reasonable, especially for the specials. The breakfasts are humongous and yummy. I am a biscuit and gravy snob and this joint has good stuff for both.

This place has absolutely the worst quality food. if you are obese, you will like it here. everything is fried and processed. disgusting. and it is filthy inside. years and years of grime all over the place. i can’t say anything about the taste of the food because we left after five minutes without ordering. hands down one of the worst places i’ve ever walked into.

Love Cracker Barrel, but this is a bad location. The food is often over or under cooked, the place is often not well-kept, and the service is inconsistent. I’d recommend going up the road to Lakeland if you want Cracker Barrel or going to IHOP if you really want breakfast right in this area.

I won’t lie, I loved this place as a kid for the toys. Honestly, the food is ok. I have had it enough that I’m tired of it. I’m not very impressed with the food nor the variety. I only really like the chicken and dumplings they have now.

I was out here for the first time a few months ago with my family and godparents for a birthday lunch. Looking back, I see they were serving brunch at the time we went and deeply regret I getting what I got instead of a plate of pancakes and some links. Server was just wonderful, very patient(we kinda have a difficult time as my parents really don’t go out to eat so they don’t know the procedure). Though it did take awhile to get my water refilled. As to the food, my dad got my steak by accident so I had a medium and he got my medium rare… wasn’t as warm as a medium should be, lots of gristle in the cut so… lots of it was inedible. My mom’s fried chicken was really amazing and I wish I had gotten that, along with the braised greens. What I had instead was salad… kinda standard house, nice portion, and a sweet potato. I have no idea what was with the sweet potato, I know it’s better but I would expect a nice russet loaded with butter and sour cream but, perhaps it was my fault for not asking ahead of time. Okra, nothing special, biscuits and cornbread were also okay. It was $ 85 for 6 people, 3 of us had steaks so… I liked it enough but I can think of other places I would have rather had dinner. Exploring the store was nice though, they have plenty of oldtime novelties and supposedly handmade goods, wish I had gotten a soda but… oh well. Nothing much to rave about, if you are in need of lunch as well as maybe not too serious gift shopping, coming out here would be an good option, otherwise… remember that we are in Memphis, there are plenty of other soul/southern cooking places around here. Edit: yeah the menu’s are disgusting

I hate a long wait at a restaurant; but waiting at Cracker Barrel is always a fun experience. I always find something unique and fun to buy at their Country Store; and even if I don’t, I have a blast browsing! About the food — well, they have the absolute tastiest blueberry pancakes in the city. That, along with ANY of the amazing fruit toppings on french toast is definitely worth a trip.

I’ve been going to Cracker Barrel for years. It’s a wonderful place for breakfast, and decent for dinners. The best thing about Cracker Barrel is that they’re extremely consistent, not matter where you visit, even down to the floor layout. They’re all almost identical to one another… EXCEPTFORTHISONE. This floor layout is the exact opposite of every other Cracker Barrel I’ve ever been to. It was so strange. We walked in and got really turned around. That being said, the food was good. The service was so-so, but they were really busy the day we went, so it’s understandable. It’s still the best place around the immediate area for an anytime anyday breakfast.

The cashier girl said to me, «Too bad there’s no Cracker Barrel in California.» And she was right. Cracker Barrel is awesome! It’s an ‘Old Country Store’ because there’s a huge store as you enter the restaurant.( ) Nik-naks and random finds. This place is very entertaining. Homecooking done the Southern way. Mmmm. Basket of corn muffins and biscuits.( ) The corn muffins were more grainy and less sweet as ones we’re used to. Biscuits were good, but not as good as Corky’s. Had the Chicken and Dumplin’ Platter with sides of corn, macaroni and cheese and hashbrown casserole.( ) Never had chicken and dumpling before, but I’m now a fan! Sooo tender and flavorful. The mac and cheese had the right amount of cheese and milk. And the hashbrown casserole had a great layer of crunchiness on top. Mmmmm. My friend had the Sampler Platter.( ) Ham, meatloaf, and dumplings with sides of corn, mashed potato and macaroni and cheese. The meatloaf was very good. Very ketchupy and moist. MmmmMmmm.
