My daughter has gone to Kid Station for seven years… We love it. Now, about two years ago, I noticed that the staff was … Unenthusiastic about working there. I noticed some things that made me uncomfortable and we stopped going for awhile. Well, when we came back all of those girls were gone and the new staff seems great! My daughter has fun every time she goes, the employees are handling the stress very well, and honestly, I’m happy to see smiling faces in there again. As someone who works with young children, trust me, it’s hard. Then you have ungrateful parents to deal with as well… Bleh. So I can appreciate the employees there who recognize my daughter when she visits, paint her nails, allow her to paint their nails, play games with her, and basically show her a good time for a few hours. I appreciate you ladies for all that you do.

Terrible with young kids
My one tear old has never had a problem with stranger anxiety she and her 2 year old sister love day care but 5 minutes into our movie they call me and tell me i have to pick up my kids because my one year old is screaming and crying and won’t calm down. So I tell them I’m in a movie then they say oh well she also has a fever. So we left the movie and went to pick them up she was happy and laughing as usual no fever at all. And they still made us pay for the 2 hours and dinner for the two year old which they told us the two year old didn’t eat and when we picked them up she was telling me she was starving. My kids were the only ones there that night so I guess they just didn’t want to do their Jobs.

Kid Station is an OSHA-​certified drop-​in child care facility, with daytime and evening hours, seven days a week. The owner is passionate about giving kids the best and safest possible environment. Parents may bring a child’s lunch or dinner (peanut free), or food may be ordered from Holiday Deli or Huey’s by a drop-​down menu upon secure computer check-​in.
Kids get to play with other kids and enjoy amenities such as a video and Wii room, stocked with comfy beanbags, a toddler area which can be closed off to keep large running feet away from the little ones, dress-​up, air hockey, a mouse maze, and loads of toys. A seasonal craft is usually offered a couple times a day as well.
The price is comparable to a regular babysitter (somewhere around $ 10/​hr. for a single kid, and $ 13/​hr. for two), with a multi-​child discount, and prepaid hours available.
Check in on Unilocal for a coupon! Call or email a day or two in advance, as they do fill up quickly, and spaces cannot be guaranteed without reservations, especially on school holidays.

A drop off center for children, yes please! There have been many times that I have needed to run a quick errand or stop by a client’s office and my husband was at work and all my sitters were in school.
KidStation is the perfect place to go if you are in a bind for childcare. They are open early and stay open late and have been available every time I have needed them. I usually call ahead just to make sure that there is space. Their rates are fair ($ 9/​hr for one child) and they send an email newsletter with coupons, discounts, etc. each month. They also have a loyalty program and every (?)th hour is free. I was a little skeptical at first because I didn’t know the girls personally, but I trust them with my son and he always gets excited to play when we walk in!
I would recommend KidStation to any mom/​dad who needs that extra help.

We are new to the area and have not met anyone to babysit our children… a fellow Unilocaler mentioned Kids Station and so we kept in our back pocket until a need arised. WELL last night we received an offer to join my husband’s co-​worker for a dinner class at L’ecole so we decided it was time to try out Kids Station. We showed up around noon to check it out and was quickly introduced to the facility and procedures. We both (husband & I) felt fairly confident that we could trust the kids to stay later in the evening. We made our reservation then and returned later in the evening. The Manager was awesome and made us feel very comfortable with her skill and care level for the kids in her care! When we arrived to pick them up the kids hardly wanted to leave! We were so happy that they enjoyed themselves and we had the chance to enjoy some adult time with new friends!!! So happy to know we now have options!!!

In short, Kid Station ROCKS! They are an awesome drop in babysitting service. The company serves a huge need for many parents. They are lifesavers when it comes to doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, or just needing an hour to yourself.
The staff here are always smiling and friendly. They are high energy and really seem to care about the children. The kids love it because there are so many different things to do and the staff make it a fun time.

A drop-​in babysitter? This is just too good to be true. Sure, I knew life would be different with kids, but I never anticipated just how different. My toddler is a climber and she won’t even stay in the grocery cart anymore no matter how tightly I strap her in. If my husband’s busy working while I need to run errands or go somewhere on the spur of the moment, I now have a place on which I can rely.
Kid Station is a safe, friendly environment with well-​trained staff that kids love and busy mommies need. There is a strict child to caregiver ratio, and reservations trump drop-​ins, so if you know in advance that you’ll need their services, make a reservation online. The first child is $ 8 and each additional sibling is $ 2 per hour.
You can even plan your child’s birthday party at Kid Station, or reserve care for groups of up to 40 children.

Got errands to run or want to go out to dinner without the kids and need a last minute babysitter? This is a great place to take your kids and they accept drop-​ins. What a wonderful resource for busy parents.
Kid Station is essentially a fun and safe childcare facility that’s open from about 7:30 in the morning until 9 at night on the weekdays, and 11 pm on weekends. The rates are pretty reasonable at $ 8 per hour and $ 2 per hour for each additionally child. There is a 7 hour max stay.

Absolutely amazing childcare! Kid Station is one of the best things that has happened to our family. Our daughter thinks she is getting a fun playtime, while my husband and I recognize that we are getting some couple time! It is a win/​win for Everyone! We can all join back up later in a great mood!
Great value, but we do wish they were open on Sunday afternoons/​evenings.
