Specialties
We are THE local, neighborhood (fully featured) grocery store.
We specialize in supplying local products from Memphis and the surrounding area. Our deli is run by an executive chef, he and his team prepare 90% of the products daily, fresh and on site. Daily soups and a wide range of fresh sandwiches and salads being the items we are famous for.
Visit us and take the chore out of shopping.
History
Established in 1998.
Opened in Harbor Town to serve the residents of Mud Island, we are the only grocery store on the island. We expanded in 2005 to add a full featured deli/diner.
Now we service not only the island but downtown and have regular customers from as far afield as Olive Branch.
In 2008 we committed to becoming THE local neighborhood grocery store and have added many items since then that cannot be found easily elsewhere. We also started to «go green» and partnered with Project Greenfork. We were very happy to be the first grocery store to be certified Green by them.
We strive to offer the service, selection and price that takes the chore out of shopping.
Don’t just eat. Eat well.
Meet the Manager
Tony O.
Manager
For those that have not met me (those that have already know). I am British.
Coming to Miss Cordelia’s from The Fresh Market was a hard choice. But Henry Turley’s passion for Memphis tipped the balance.
I have been in general management for over 20 years now and Food management for the last 14 of those.
With experience of food retail ranging from the convenience store format up to the superstore size. I have a passion for food, but even more so for the experience of buying food. My goal is to transform it from a weekly chore into a daily adventure.
