I called Nelson Carpet Cleaning because of the reviews I saw on Unilocal.Doug did the best job cleaning our carpet we have ever had!!! And he used much less water as well, so our carpet dried much quicker. We have had Stanley Steamer and Service Master before and Doug with Nelson Carpet Cleaning will be the ONLY one I ever call again!

Sometimes I don’t event think my dogs even care if they have mud on their feet. They just bomb through the back door and track mud and dirt throughout the house. One dog is a Bassett, so we have the advantage of excessively large feet and ears that drag the ground most of the time, so she creates a double-​whammy of filth.
Doug does our area rugs and upholstery twice a year and I can’t say enough good things about him. The rugs come out as good as new and the upholstery is suitable for sleeping again. Top notch service. Super polite. On time. Under budget. Excellent company to work with.

All I can say is WOW! Doug totally transformed our new home’s carpet (full of spots, rust marks, ground in dirt) into what looks like a brand new carpet for our brand new home! I can’t recommend Doug enough. We wanted to move in right away and Doug fit us into his schedule at a moment’s notice, in the evening. We have two big dogs who could manage to find mud in a desert, and Doug does an excellent job of making our carpets look like we’re a pet-​free family. The house always smells nicer after he leaves. Plus, we’re able to walk on the carpet faster than with any other type of carpet-​cleaning contraption I’ve ever tried, and the hardwood floors stay looking flawless underneath. He’s always super great about making appointments promptly too. Will definitely use again and again, and recommend others do the same.

Amazing job on our white Berber carpet. It had several mystery stains from the previous owner and a few from our cat. Carpet looks brand new. We also had the kitchen grout cleaned. Great price and great customer service. Will use them again!

I just had my carpets cleaned by Doug Nelson and am so happy with the results! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous, plus his rates are incredibly reasonable to the point that I wondered if the dreaded «hidden fees» would pop up.
Not only were there no fees, there was no tax because of a law stating that attached carpeting is exempt while standalone items (rugs, couches, etc) aren’t considered part of the home and are therefore taxable.
I’ve had several instances of water damage on this carpet, plus six years of pet accidents to contend with. Even though I vacuum regularly and use the Bissell steamer twice a week, it just wasn’t working. My carpet now looks like it is brand new!
I highly recommend you call Doug Nelson for all your carpet cleaning needs

I have 3 dogs (and currently a 6 week old foster pup) so while they are all housebroken (minus the pup), my carpets get pretty dirty due to their feet. They absolutely love the outdoors… particularly rolling in mud and leaves.
Did I mention that my favorite color is white? These two facts do not go together.
The cream rug in my bedroom can get disgusting due to the doggie door being right by it. This was not good planning on my part. But every time Doug comes, he makes it look shiny and new again! I am utterly amazed. Seriously. I never knew I could gush so much over carpet cleaning but he really does perform miracles.
And when I thought my way too expensive yellow oriental carpet was ruined for sure after Scarlett threw up on it (and I used too much soap to try to get it out), Doug came in and made it look new again, thereby stopping my tears. I honestly doesn’t know how he does it… but I’m grateful!

Our appointment was at 4pm Doug called to say he was running a little behind from his last appointment and asked if we needed to reschedule since he was going to be a little late. We told him to come on. I was impressed with the fact that he even called to tell us that. In all my years of having a home I can’t remember a service person/​repair person calling to say they were running late! Got here at 4:17 he was so nice and upbeat when he introduced himself, got our email and sent the invoice right then.
My sofa & rug I have to admit where in bad shape. I was getting ready to throw away the rug but Doug wanted to see what he could do for it. The rug is clean & odor free! My sofa is 6yrs old so I had gotten used to the stains that spot cleaning was never able to get out. Our sofa looks & smells so good! I am so glad we found Doug we are big on supporting «small» & «family» owned business so I was glad that in my Internet search Doug’s name and reviews from his other customers came up! The whole process took about 2hrs. Doug was very pleasant and asked just a few questions to get to know us and he told us a few things about his family & how he got into his business– all WITHOUT making us feel like he was being unprofessional. I’m so pleased I will be filing his card away and telling my friends about Nelson Carpet Cleaning! Oh and most importantly there were no hidden fees like some other companies have did to us in the past! Doug takes pride in his work & wants us to be satisfied!

I have used Nelson Carpet Cleaning twice and have been pleased with the results both times.
Doug seems to be a one-​man company; at least, he’s come alone both times. His prices are reasonable, he is diligent, and he takes pride in his work.
If you don’t want a pattern in the carpet with his drying tool, please tell him. He left one in my oriental runner, and I had him come back and take it out. He did this with no complaint at all. He also didn’t push a lot of unneeded services like the larger cleaners do. He was flexible regarding his appointment times.

so happy ! Excellent ! I am the pickiest person, we have several types of rugs. I was worried about our specialty rugs not getting proper attention, crews of people coming in and leaving messes and wrecking my floor (not the case !) My master bedroom with cream carpeting looks amazing and all my area rugs are fresh and clean !
