Love these guys. They are fair and inexpensive. ¹⁄₃ the cost of the dealers and they don’t try and sell you on things you don’t need. I just wish they bad a shuttle service.

When I first moved to Memphis, I drove a 1999 Volvo sedan. I named her «the brat» because she was a brat. She loved to have fits that required specialized Volvo loving. She had previously been cared for by a Volvo mechanic from my hometown. Because of needs, the first service provider I found when I moved here was a Volvo mechanic. Step in Smisco Volvo.
Smisco Volvo was a dad away from home. When my car starting making noises or just didn’t feel right, I brought her to Smisco. Sometimes there was nothing wrong and I was just being sensitive (which I never paid for), sometimes there was. Either way they knew. Most importantly they knew how to fix it and how to fix it cheap. They genuinely want to fix your car and fix it right. You won’t get a band-​aid from them unless that is what you want. They explain everything and always give you the full picture.
Anyone who drives an older Volvo should bring it here. They are honest and reliable. I honestly have considered making a flyer for them and leaving them on older Volvo’s when I see them. Obsessed, maybe, but only because they truly are the BEST Volvo mechanics in Memphis.
