An Italian place that delivers and has a drive-up window? Hell yes. I stopped by here with my girlfriend the other day and we didn’t take advantage of either, however. I had the meatball sub and a side of macaroni and cheese, and she had a plain slice and her own order of mac(I don’t share my mac ‘n cheese). She really liked her pizza — the toppings tasted fresh, the cheese was applied generously, and it was in general a nice departure from your standard-fare pizza. It’s on an almost cracker-thin(but not crispy) crust, which neither of us were huge on, but we’ll definitely try it again. Their menu has some interesting-looking pizzas that I’d like to check out. My hoagie was good, but I probably won’t order it again. The meatballs had a strange, rubbery texture — in contrast to the pizza, they did not taste very fresh at all. The sweet peppers were a nice addition, though. The real star was the macaroni and cheese. Big penne pasta, what must have been a couple different cheeses, and a good-sized portion… just delicious. I’ll be back again just for that. Service was quick and friendly, and they now have a little sitting area out front that we took advantage of. I’ll definitely be ordering from here next time I’m sitting at home hungry for Italian and don’t feel like putting pants on, and that order will definitely include some of that sweet, sweet mac.

Just went back to Vito’s to try some of that killer looking pasta I spotted on my last trip as well as a slice of the pizza for good measure. Hey, you can’t blame a girl for getting food cravings based on Unilocal talk threads. My husband chose their falafel sandwich this time and was happy to split that slice with me. As soon as I bit into that pizza, I knew I didn’t have any desire to even touch the pasta. Wow. This stuff is good! Crispy, thin, crust, yet still some substance to it. The spices in their tomato sauce are right on, and whatever pepperoni and mushroom combo they chose was perfection. The toppings were layered between cheese and it resembled this thick blanket of tasty goodness. I was disappointed I had to split it, and so disappointed after my few bites were gone. At $ 2 bucks and some change per slice– this shit’s the bomb. My penne and ricotta pasta was good– though paled in comparison to the pizza. Their sauce is delicious, but mixed with the ricotta and spinach it ended up being a bit bland. My husband loved his falafel sandwich and made animal noises while he ate it. I gotta give Vito’s props yet again for making sure Eleanor Rigby got her doggie treat at the window. It’s official, she knows now that she will receive a rather large biscuit when we go here and we cannot pull up to that window fast enough. Gotta love any establishment that takes care of the fur children.

OK, it’s not Malto Mario, but of you consider that your bill here will in some ways resemble your tab at back yard burger I think it’s way worth the trip. Drive through Italian, really? Yes. And it’s pretty darn good to boot. Not as crazy about the pizza as much as the traditional pasta dishes, which are tasty and priced right. A huge serving(enough for two) spaghetti is around six bucks. Plus, salads and things like toasted ravioli are in the 3 dollar range. AND you can grab it on the way home from work. What’s even better. These are nice folks. The night I was there and picked up dinner for three, the credit card machine wasn’t working, so the comped it.(24 clams and some change) see if that ever happens at ANY other drive-through. Go, try, and go back. And if you don’t want to do that… They’ll bring it to you.

Wow. I just had the most disappointing phone conversation that made me cancel an order that I was REALLY excited to have. The food they have is phenomenal from previous experience though I have only ordered in person. The service definitely needs improvement. The gentleman who answered the phone was less than helpful. I asked for a Vito’s pizza. He said they no longer sell that. I asked him to confirm. He muted the phone and said they did. I asked for pepperoni on half and chicken on the other. He said they no longer put chicken on pizzas. I listed 2 chicken pizzas they had. He muted the phone again and said okay he could do my order. I confirmed that it would be $ 1 to have half chicken/half pepperoni. He agreed. I added a spaghetti with falafel and confirmed he could do that(we were striking out all over the place). He agreed. My total was $ 28 something. I asked how that added up with a $ 13 pizza, $ 6.50 pasta and $ 1.80 falafel. He had to pause and then said chicken cost $ 2.85 to add(seemed to forget the half part). I said I was done with this process and asked he cancel the order. He hung up on me.(By the way, if you try to post a comment on their site, it hasn’t worked since they opened.) Their pizza looks like it’s a $ 1 frozen pizza but wow is it good(prob the best in Memphis). I can not explain how disappointed I am to NOT have their food, but I refused to have this guy handle my order. I really hope they improve on the service so I can continue to enjoy their food.

Really great pizza. Best I’ve had in Memphis so far. Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because there is no indoor seating.

I picked up the Centurion. This pizza was massive, lots of toppings. The only criticism is the crust was a little greasy. But for $ 15, this pizza is a steal.

I’ve seen the construction going on at this place for a while, but we were surprised on our bike ride today when the door opened with a yell that«hey, we serve cyclers too!». This is one of the first food stops at the end of the western Greenline, so perfect timing. We had a couple of reasonably priced slices of pie: 1 cheese and 1 pepperoni. Thin crust isn’t my favorite, but theirs was good; not greasy and not floppy. We also had some awesome fried ravioli that was about the best I’ve had in town. We didn’t get around to the sandwiches(which looked amazing), but we’ll be heading back soon to give it a try. I’d give the place a 5-star if they’d had any outdoor seating. They said they just opened so maybe next time we’ll be able to relax a bit more.
