Business Owner

Tony Rosales, co-​founder of Before-​N-​After, is a Nurse Practitioner with over 11 years experience. After retiring from the United States Navy, Tony teamed up with longtime friend and colleague, John Love, M.D., and together they brought Before-​N-​After to life. Over the past 6 years, Tony has added medical aesthetics to his practice. Recognized for his conservative approach to injectables such as BOTOX®, Juvéderm® and Restylane, Tony has achieved Allergan’s Black Diamond Level Status. Diamond Status ranks Tony in the nation’s top 1% of injectors.

John W. Love MD is the co-​owner and Medical Director for Before-​N-​After. As a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician he frequently sees the unfortunate devastating, and often, permanent consequences from obesity related conditions. Dr. Love has a special interest in weight loss medicine, and proactively working with clients to achieve optimal health. He has an extensive background in athletics and personal training.

While the staff and the injector Lori were all very nice, my botox was unsatisfactory. (even after the free touch up, 2 weeks ago) See pictures. Like I said very nice staff and they did my free touch up a week after the cut off time. I’ve been getting botox for years and never had this issue. Stinks because this office is way closer than where I went to in La Jolla.
UPDATE: Yes the office contacted me but I am not interested in coming back a 3rd time. Thank you.

My Review is solely on my procedure and follow up care.
Tony who is a master injector saw me for lip injections. He has a fantastic bedside manner, great personality and made me feel completely at ease. He gave me a couple of suggestions and I went with what he recommended.
I decided to proceed with my procedure. I was numbed and stepped outside in the waiting room to wait for my lips to numb. I actually felt very uncomfortable doing that while there was other patients waiting out there who were staring.
I was called back in by Tony. At that pointed he explained everything he was doing. I had a few injections lower and to top left. When he got to the right upper lip I noticed he applied pressure and stopped injecting at that pointed he stepped away came back and started injecting me again. He then told me I started hemorrhaging, due to the needle hitting a vein?. He showed me and it seemed to under control. He stopped injecting at that point and told me he saved some of the juvederm for a follow up. I was sent home with some ice packs. A few hours passed and I noticed I was getting a big purple swollen oval shape on my lip. I started to have horrible pain. I decided to call his office. I was asked by Tony to drive back down to see him.
I get there and he told me he was going to inject me a few more times with an enzyme I assume so he did. It was beyond painful. It burned and stung horribly. But it did go down significantly. Tony followed up with me everyday to make sure things were okay. I came on for a follow up the following Tuesday (a week later) my right upper lip was significantly smaller than the other side. Tony injected it twice and added more on the other side as well. I left and went home. My right lip is still significantly smaller then the other side. It’s been 3 weeks and it’s only more obvious. His office did follow up with me last week no msg was left by his office. I called back and was transferred around and then finally sent to a voicemail where I left a message and was not called back.
I will not be going back to this office. Do I feel Tony is a bad injector? NO. This procedure just didn’t work for me that’s all. Would I recommend Tony to anyone else? Yes: and I have. This was just a bad experience and from what I’ve read it’s rare when it happens.
I will be going else where to have it fixed.

I’m on my second month of the weight loss program. I lost 7.5lbs my first month, and my sister in law lost 14. I cannot believe how incredibly affordable it is. Everyone has been very nice and it’s been a great experience so far. I’ll update my review once my year has been completed and I’ve lost 50lbs :)

Great place, i have been giing going for over a year. I have good months and bad ones. The front desk staff is always so nice and welcoming. When i first came i was at my lowest i am trying to loose just 10 more pounds. The girls give great advice. I like the challenge were they offered money off of weekly program depending on pounds lost great motivation.

I have been going to Before and After for a few years. I get botox and juvaderm and I am very pleased with the results. This last month I got Juvaderm in the parenthesis lines around the mouth with a new technique which was painless. I totally recommend using this technique that is through a cannula

Botox only lasted a few weeks. When I called to inquire why, I was left with countless questions unanswered. After leaving my final voicemail regarding the poor experience, I NEVER received a return call.

Great establishment in Menifee to get Vitamin B12 & B6 injections.
I was having trouble getting my primary care physician to write me a prescription for a B12 shot that I could give to myself. So one day after calling around, looking on Unilocal & Google for B12 shots I found Before ‘N’ After.
And I’m glad I did!
Not only are the employees kind and down to earth — the prices are unbeatable!!! For a written script of B12 without insurance it’s at least $ 55. But here it’s just $ 5 a piece or $ 40 for TEN! *** two for FREE! ***
If you have chronic fatigue because of CFS, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Migraines, Hypothyroidism, Cancer, etc.,. or if you are trying to just have more energy to lose weight — come over to this clinic!!!
I am on the low end of normal for Vitamin B12 but before my TWO YEARS of treatment at my Doctor’s office I was B12 anemic! I have slept up to 23 hours a day. :(
The fatigue was hitting me again so I got an injection at Before ‘N’ After. The first one was a combo of B12 & B6. The B6 stings btw so prepare your psyche. Lol! The B12 doesn’t.
I went two weeks before getting another one (it’s half of what I normally get at the Dr’s) to see if there was improvement and there was but by the end of week two I was oversleeping again. I’ve gotten 2 more injections of just B12 and I plan to do this every week until I feel it would be okay to only do bi-​weekly injections.
Last week I was awake during normal hours for three days in a row! That’s huge for me.
Vitamin B12 is expelled through one’s urine so it really can’t harm you ((but I’m NOT a Doctor so ask your Doctor!))) I’ve taken two 5,000mcg of oral B12 supplements a day and had no ill effect, nor any positive effect, and the injections are much less! Most people’s guts cannot absorb B12 via supplements anyway.
This place also does complete weight loss programs, Botox, Eye lash stuff lol & other beauty/​health services. Stop on by! You will NOT be judged or pushed into getting other services either.
The only constructive criticism I have is how the injections are being administered… There really should be gloves worn and the rubbing alcohol should be left alone for 30 seconds before injection to reduce chances of infection.
