Established in 1978.

As a full service storefront travel agency serving both corporate and leisure travelers, parent company Continental Travel has been based in Mercer Island, WA since 1978. Our leisure division, Journeys to Paradise, was conceived in 2007 to focus primarily on the needs of leisure travelers of all types. As our sun destination business continues to grow, we feel we need people who are experts in selling individual and group travel to the world’s most popular sun destinations as well as the vast arrays of choices in ocean and river cruising.

Manager

Rick came to Journeys to Paradise after 5 years of experience with a major international airline and 31 experience in the travel wholesale business with two of the world’s largest travel wholesalers to sun destinations. He is a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC), a destination specialist for several popular vacation destinations, and a River Cruise specialist. His experience in working with individuals and groups to customize their travel experience to fit their personal need while remaining value-​competitive with impersonal online travel agencies is unsurpassed in the travel industry. Rick has visited Hawaii more thatn 120 times and traveled many times to Mexico, the Caribbean, the South Pacific and throughout Asia. He has also been to Europe and on several cruises. If he hasn’t been to a specific destination, chances are very high that someone else in the office has been there.
