So disappointed! We love the ambience and have been eating and drinking here for many years; however, this dinner was AWFUL! Flavorless calamari(probably frozen) with tons of breading, Rubbery chicken that was cold, under cooked pasta that was thick and awful… Just a waste of money. Where is the quality you used to have??? With fantastic Faro down the street, there is no way Guiseppes can stay in business with cold, prepackaged/frozen tasteless food at the same price! Please fix this! We love the location!

Went with three friends & seated right away on a Friday night. Service was not great, waitress had little to no personality. Do not order the Artichoke Hearts Supremo, they were in a bowl of soupy cheese & were terrible. Baked Stuffed Mushrooms were not much better & the Fried Zucchini Sticks were all batter. The Margherita Pizza was extremely bland. Skip this restaurant.

If the woman who seated us wasn’t rude to my mother, maybe they’d get 4 stars. And now I know Ma doesn’t like sitting in the middle of a room. The pizza got high marks from my dolly and Ma, and I’d say the chicken parm sandwich was a 3 star lunch. Streak fries weren’t bad, and you can order seasoned waffle fries too. I still wished they’d just let Ma sit where she wanted to. Instead they told her the table she wanted wasn’t ready. What made it odd was that the table we were sat at wasn’t really ready, we had no napkins or forks. And 3 minutes after we sat down a couple was sat at the table Ma wanted. Ok? Won’t be back… Don’t mess with Ma.

Good size portions. Good food at reasonable prices. We each had a full size salad and split a small Chicken & Spinach Alfredo Pizza. It was more than enough and tasted great! We enjoyed the live entertainment as well. A nice spot to meet friends. The only issue is parking. There was a wedding taking place and Meredith is a vacation hot spot so we drove around to find a parking spot off site.

As informed customers you should not give a place like this your business. What horrible service! I just left the restaurant with my whole family of 10 including two children and grandparents and am extremely disappointed in its management. We called ahead for reservations and selected this restaurant based on us coming here for a couple years in a row while visiting on vacation. I was clear that we had two elders and a child who needed a booster seat while making the reservation to make sure there were no issues and requested seating outside. We showed up to our reservation promptly and we were then told that they had moved us to bar-top seating inside because they were worried about the weather. No thought was put to the elders or children in regards to the seating. Then when we told the hostess that would not work for us she told us that we can«take it or leave it». The manager did come after us obviously being upset by that but were still not accommodated. We left and then were stuck finding a place that could take us last minute which was hard, luckily ‘George’s’ down the road was nice enough to take us and we had a very nice dinner. There is a reason this place has such meh reviews and the cost is not cheap for mediocre food. All that had to be done is a phone call to let us know that they were changing our seating, yet they needed our credit card information in case we didn’t show up to charge us. What happened to the customer always being right with the service industry?

I DONOTLIKEBEINGTRICKEDBYTHEWAITSTAFFTOINTENTIONALLYDRIVEUPTHEBILL. Be very careful about ordering sides. My party of four was ordering sandwiches. The waitress said to each person. «Do you want sweet potato fries, steak fries, waffle fries, OR onion rings?» Apparently(although implied these items were part of the meal by the waitress) each of these had a $ 4 up-charge, adding $ 16 to the bill. I even said to my wife while we were ordering; «I guess there is no need to order a side for the table then.» Note :The menu does not list them as part of the order and does list the sides separately. Be cautious of waitstaff trickery. This place has employees that will try. I was there at 1:00pm on August 9, 2015. Hopefully a manager will see this review and talk to the staff.

Hadn’t been here to eat in a few years so when my sister and I were walking around the shops at Mills Falls it seemed like a good choice for lunch. We chose to sit outside on the patio since it was a nice day. Our server, Ashley, came right over to take a beverage order. Everything sounded good — when doesn’t Italian sound good?!? My sister ordered us the buffalo chicken won tons while we made our decisions. They were crisp and absolutely yummy! So good! We both ordered sandwiches — veal cutlet Parm for her and meatball for me. Both were served with chips, but we could have upgraded for a charge. The subs were plentiful on meat filling and cheese, but definitely needed more marinara sauce. Luckily, my sister had ordered extra sauce on the side that we were able to share. Service was good, the app was great and overall the sandwiches met expectations.

Great location, ate pizza outside at lunch, so no entertainment. Pizza was good enough, not the best I’ve ever had. Service was good.

I was really looking foward to this as I love wood fired pizza but I thought it was just okay. We ordered four pizzas for our party of eight., we wanted enough variety and the children wanted plain cheese. All of them had way too much sauce. .and it’s the really dark strong tomato-ey kind… which is just overwhelming. The margarita pizza would have been best served with fresh tomatoes or just a lighter plainer crushed tomato style sauce. The bbq pizza had potential but was just loaded with bbq sauce that was a bit much. What is the deal with the pebble shaped sausage«nuggets»? It reminded us if the kind you would find on a frozen pizza. We also found the flavor of the crust to be just«okay» as well. There is something missing there and I’m not really sure what it is. I really wanted to love it but our entire party was left wishing we had gone someplace for our pizza. :(

Last week we came here for lunch– it was my grandmothers 76 birthday! The pizza was delicious and the service was ever better! We sat outside on the patio and it was so peaceful, the perfect spot to have lunch. The sounds of the waterfall were more than relaxing. The food is reasonably priced and I will be going back!

Always consistently good. The pizza, the apps and the dinners. Personal favorite is the gluten free chicken dish. It is loaded with veggies. Best if not the only place in Meredith for live music. Thursday: Karaōke, 10 pm Friday: DJ and dancing, 10 pm Saturday: DJ and dancing, 10 pm Last Saturday, every month: Live Bands Sunday: Open Stage upstairs by the piano

In praise of great customer service; Almost 2 weeks ago, a group of 12 of us stopped at Giuseppe’s in Meredith for lunch after a harrowing drive in the ice. The food was delicious, the waitstaff was patient & thorough and the experience was just what we needed after the harrowing drive. Half way home I realized that I had left my fleece vest on my chair. I called the restaurant, they had it in the office and offered to mail it to me. Lo and behold, it arrived, neatly folded in yesterday’s mail. I would like to give a big shout out to Giuseppe’s Pizzeria and Ristorante for outstanding customer service — please do stop in if you are in the Lakes Region.

We hosted our company’s holiday party at Giuseppe’s. Julie was great to work with and made the planning part so easy. They offered endless options when it came to menu putting together a menu. The staff at the event was the best and couldn’t have been more attentive. This wasn’t the first event we have hosted here and it won’t be the last. If you are looking for a venue to host a gathering, you can’t go wrong with Giuseppe’s.

Mice!!!’ I just finished eating a pizza and no more than a couple minutes after finishing my pizza and a beer, I saw two mice crawl from in between the wine refrigerator on the top of the bar into a hole in the bar where all the wine glasses hang from on the left side of the bar. It’s a small hole where a cord goes into. Gross!!! I am calling the hotel and bar to let the know in the am.

Nice ambience. A little loud, even downstairs. Salad was good. Bread was average. As was the entrée and service. Meh.

I have been to Guiseppe’s many times. It’s great because of the location and the fact that it’s so large in space. On the weekends, there is dancing in the«Grotto» on Friday nights and live music on Saturdays in the«Grotto» as well. Sunday nights, there is open mic in the upstairs area. Guiseppe’s definitely does something right with having so much to offer patrons. The menu is enormous. However, with a menu so big, maybe the quality of the food gets lost along the way. Nothing stands out as being exceptional. The sandwiches aren’t super flavorful and the pizzas aren’t anything extraordinary. The service in the dining room leaves a lot to be desired as well. The servers don’t seem like they really care and they don’t have a lot of responsibility(aside from taking orders, that’s all they do). In that they don’t have to do a lot of the things servers at other restaurants have to do(make salads, run food, clear tables) it’s a little discouraging that every server I have had is so inattentive. Guiseppes is good to visit for a casual meal. They’re open late and generally have something fun going on. Don’t expect much out of the quality of food or service though.

I have been frequenting this restaurant since I was a young kid with my family. I’ve seen it grow and evolve, and I still keep coming back 20 years later. This is a great little Italian restaurant in the lakes region, and the ambiance alone is worth the trip and bill. The biggest change they’ve made over the years is to add an addition one floor down from the original restaurant, which they aptly name«the grotto.» Both sections have their own feel and ambiance, and they are both different. The original upstairs location offers the standard«family style» Italian restaurant, while the downstairs is darker, and nestled into giant boulders. It gives it a more«adult» feel, and is a bit more intimate. The menu remains the same for both locations. I’ve always enjoyed consistent service at this restaurant. They typically employ a younger staff, and they all seem to be pretty professional and courteous. They appear to run the business well, and on any given weekend, there is always a wait, and with multiple restaurants in the area, that’s a credit to their success. The food is solid at this restaurant. I’ve always enjoyed good meals here, particularly the chicken Marsala. They are also known for their pizza; the crust is fabulous! I also really enjoy their salads, and I usually skip on the salads at a restaurant. This is a great restaurant, and will be a nice night out, whether you’re taking the family or you’ve got a hot date. Either way, you’ll be happy you dined here.
