History

Established in 1987.

Dr. Wamboldt has been treating patients in the East Valley for over 25 years. He takes a highly personal approach to caring for his patients. Through comprehensive evaluation and treatment, we strive to meet our patients’ individual needs. It is our goal to help each of our patients return to an active, pain-​free lifestyle. Many orthopaedic conditions can be treated with non-​surgical approaches. If these prove to be ineffective, then surgery may be beneficial. We combine the latest techniques with proven traditional methods to provide our patients with the best orthopaedic care possible. We are able to see patients in an even more timely manner with the valuable addition of Travis Tirk, PA-​C.

Dr. Wamboldt completed medical school at the University of Illinois Medical Center in 1982 and followed there with his residency until 1987. He and his family moved to Mesa at that time where they raised their two children. Besides his medical practice, he enjoys all that Arizona has to offer for fishing, hiking and skiing as well as woodworking and photography.
