We enjoyed our 2.5 years of renting with Bennett Property Management. They made the rental process easy and were always ready to meet our needs with requests for repairs. We’d do it all again!

the main issue I have is that (and other management companies are guilty of this as well) — they charge you for other nickel and dime BS fees: (doc prep, advertising, renewal, etc.)… I would much prefer they just charge more for the monthly % charge. this nickel and diming approach makes it HARD to ACCURATELY CASH FLOW A PROPERTY because every management company does this BS and it makes it impossible to accurately find out what you are being charged for management expense on a monthly basis. other companies do this as well and the service is good. I just don’t like the nuanced 1 off fees– makes cash flowing a property too complicated. I hate things that are overly complicated, and I HATE lack of transparency. aint no on got time for that.

Have worked with Jodi Brace for twenty years managing 5 properties. Always pro-​active and responsive. No issues or disputes in twenty years. Highly recommend!

We love Bennett and especially Sarah. Being owners out of state, Sarah and the team makes being property owners easy and stress free. Sarah takes care of everything.

I have been working with Jodi Brace to rent our property out for 7 years. She has been great and has dealt with some difficult tenant situations. She is very responsive and deals right away with letters from the HOA or similar issues. The one vacancy over that period was professionally handled.

As a property owner I’ll give them two stars because I’ve never had a problem with the rent. However I’ve only made two requests of them and both required a lot of pushing form me to get them to take care of it. One was to set up a lawn care service which resulted in the tenant complaining because nobody was taking care of their lawn and the other was a termite inspection which I’m still trying to get them to arrange.

I’m very happy with the service I’ve received from Bennett Property Management. I no longer live in the Phoenix area and they have been extremely easy to work with. I’ve received great advice on where to set the rent so it stays rented and I’ve always been extremely satisfied with whom they have rented my unit to. I would recommend them to anybody.

I am very happy with the excellent service provided to me with my rental in AZ. I have been with Bennett for going on 3 years and my experience is that I never have to worry about anything being handled. The follow up is great and I have not had one turn over yet! I have had no time without a renter in my property! That tells me my renters are also happy with Bennett Properties service. They get the job done and get it done right!

I rented here for 2 years and they are worst property management company I have ever seen. Do everything in your power to stay away and not rent from this company. They lack even basic, fundamental communication skills. One employee from the company will tell me something and another one will know nothing about it and try to tell me I am lying, that is if I can even get a hold of them ever. Their idea of scheduling maintenance is also a joke. I notified them that my rental had termites and it took them over a month to fix the problem. They would schedule a day for me to wait at home for the exterminator to come but then they wouldn’t show up. This process repeated about five times before there was ever an exterminator to show up. I found Luana Patterson to be particularly abrasive and rude in almost every interaction I had. The point is: avoid this company like the plague no matter how great the property is.

I had an easy time renting from these guys. Sarah Johnson was very helpful and was pretty responsive.
I would rent from them again.

If there was a rating for zero stars, I would give it to them.
Throughout my year long lease, I haven’t had many problems with my house. There have been minor hiccups and whatnot, which is to be expected when renting a house. What I have had a problem with is the efficiency and urgency of the staff that work there.
When I have had to get something fixed, or I had a question about my lease, I would call my Proptery manager, and request to get my issue resolved.
Therein lies the problem. I could never get ahold of my Proptery manager, or anyone at the office that could help, and it would normally take at least a week for anything to get resolved. To top that all off, it would be a miracle if I could actually speak to my Proptery manager.
I don’t have very good things to say about them, and I wouldn’t recommend this Proptery Managment company to anyone.

If I could leave a rating of 0 stars I would. As renters we have a very hard time getting ahold of our property manager. We asked to renew our lease months before it ended and never heard anything back. We just received a letter in the mail telling us to vacate at the end of our lease. We have always paid rent on time and we have not given any other issues. When things broke due to normal wear and tear they were non responsive and incredibly slow to fix the issue. I wouldn’t rent from this company again and would never place my home in there care.

I have been using Bennetts since 2002– they have always been incredibly helpful, courteous and highly professional. I always have good communication with them with regard to my property and or tenants. If in need of a repair they immediately consult with me and have never gone ahead without my consent.
I highly recommend and am mystified by some of the bad reviews– they respond to calls immediately, repairs are made in a timely fashion and they have always been a pleasure to deal with

Worst company ever! We made the mistake of renting through this joke of a company for 2 years and will NEVER AGAIN make that same mistake or ever allow our friends or family to either! They do not respond to calls, they take their time with repairs. We had to go as far as finding out who the OWNER OF THE HOME WAS ANS CALL HIM!!! Don’t waste you time, energy, or MONEY!

WARNING!!! DONT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! THEY WILL FIND A WAY TO SCREW YOU OVER!!! FIND ANOTHER PLACE!!! 8522 E Rosewood in Scottsdale is Listed as a 4 bedroom but one from as no insulation. The AC does not reach back to the room also. Sleeping in a room thats 100 degrees is not fun!!! ALSO! You will not get back your deposit no matter how clean you leave the house.

I have been renting from Bennett for 3 years and have had nothing but outstanding service. If I call or email in the morning with a problem I have an appointment or a repair person that afternoon. Everyone I work with especially my agent, Jane, is pleasant, responsive and knowledgeable. I consider her more or a friend now than an agent.
I have recommended them to family and friends and will continue to do so.

UNETHiCAL. Poor treatment of good tenant!
I was a tenant in one of their rental homes in Avondale from December 2012 through September 2014. I purchased a new construction home and when I learned that my new home would be ready three months prior to the end of my second year lease, I communicated immediately with the leasing agent. I was informed that there are NO allowances to leave the lease early. I wrote a letter stating that I would fulfill my lease obligations unless a tenant could be located prior to November 2014. I thoroughly cleaned the home and left it rent ready except for some touch up painting that was just normal wear and tear. The walk through on September 10^th went well and the agent commented on how well the home had been maintained, but they did not provide me with a copy of this report.
I was told that I could pay them $ 500 to advertise the home but they could not guarantee it would rent. I told the agent that I would not agree to the advertising expense but would actively refer people to their office. AND I would pay the rent until the property was rented or the lease was completed.
Bennett closed down my online rental access at the end of September and told me that the home was on the market. Then they told me I needed to mail a money order or my payment would be late as a check would not be recorded as paid until it cleared their bank. So I mailed my October rent in a money order… on time!
The agent emailed me October 14^th to tell me the home was rented and it would take 14 days to send me the rental overpayment and security deposit due to me.
November 3^rd I phoned because I had not received anything. They gave me the tracking number and I found they had mailed it to a wrong address. It was sent back out to a corrected address, not certified mail this time, and I finally received it on the 8^th.
They kept almost $ 600 for advertising and painting/​repairs. My attorney communicated with them asking for these funds to be returned to me. Bennett’s attorney says I breached the contract and that they had to repair holes in the wall. I want others to be aware of their unethical tactics to have the tenant pay for things that are not the tenants’ responsibility.

I am a property owner in the Phoenix area. IF YOU ARE A PROPERTY OWNER IN THE PHOENIX METROPOLITAN AREA, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM BENNETT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT.
They ARE CROOKS. They use their contract to spend your money Carte Blanche. After repeated attempts asking them to consult with me prior to spending my money, on my property, especially on big items, they refuse. As a landlord, it would make common sense to have some say in these decisions, right? Not with Bennett Property Management. The owner and managing partner, Anne McCawly is a Straight Out LIAR and a CROOK. Michael Noggle is directly manages my property and is Anne’s employee, he takes order from her follows her lead.

I have been renting with Bennett since the start of August of 2013 in Phoenix. From the start they have been nothing short of great. Travis Reich, our property manager, led us through the application process flawlessly with friendly service and quick response times. Travis was very accommodating to mine and my girlfriend’s cat AND dog. Most places won’t take one! He was very upfront with all costs, in terms of deposits, monthly rent, and the fees with the online pay portal. We never used this due to the fees but it is a great tool!
We also had a few maintenance issues such as; broken laundry machine pump and yard work (its an older house and these things happen!) that were handled well. He was extremely quick and professional in response and connecting us with the proper companies that took care of the issues!
Overall our experience with Travis and Bennett were 5 star and we would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a great home in the Phoenix area!

We have not moved out officially but will give an update if anything goes wrong (which I have all faith it won’t, as great as they have been!)
