McCleve Orthotics & Prosthetics was established in 2004 with the focus on providing personalized, high quality prosthetic and orthotic care. Our staff members participate in workshops and continuing education opportunities to remain updated with the latest prosthetic & orthotic technologies. McCleve Orthotics & Prosthetics is committed to meeting individual needs and assisting the patients in reaching their goals.

Meet the Business Owner

Dean M.

Business Owner

Dean McCleve is the founder of McCleve Orthotics and Prosthetics and has served as their Chief Clinician and Managing Partner since opening in April 2004. Dean began his career at the Helen Hayes Rehabilitation Hospital (the largest and most comprehensive rehabilitation facility in the state of New York) where he worked as a staff orthotist and prosthetist. Dean then managed at Helen Hayes and became an expert in polio bracing and transtibial prosthetics using CAD systems. His professional demeanor, compassion and service distinguish Dean from his peers; allowing him to specialize in helping amputees with transfemoral prosthetics and other needs quickly to resume their normal and active lives.

Dean graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then continued his education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where he received his master’s degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
