My husband had his annual MRI done here after attempting to have this done at two other imaging facilities that lacked the proper sized equipment. We had wasted two weeks, 7 hours of our time, and about $ 30 in gas between the other two facilities and were now up against a deadline for my husband’s doctor’s appointment.
Kudos, to SimonMed for squeezing us in on short notice. They had a new, state-​of-​the art MRI machine that can handle patients up to 660 pounds, takes images in 25% of the time that the other MRI machines do, with only half the dose of contrast media needed to complete the images.
The staff was friendly and helpful. My husband was called back for his MRI just a few minutes after we completed the paperwork.
Parking is close to the door and plentiful. The lobby was medium sized – but this is a VERY busy office and there were several times that every single chair was full. Soothing music was playing in the background. However, the lobby is devoid of magazines, TV, or other distraction, so plan on bringing a book or some games to occupy your time while you wait for your scan or wait for your loved one’s exam to conclude.

I went today because it’s what my medical insurance covered. I was refered my obgyn so they could see how far along i was. Everyone was nice despite me being 30 minutes late. It was okay but they didn’t wouldn’t explain anything about the baby to me or show me what was on the screen. they said your doctor will call you in 3 days to explain everyting because it’s policy that we can’t. Overall it was okay but if your paying out of pocket you mise well go somewhere else.
