Service was super. Took my dress on a walk in, had everything done super fast, and the alterations were done perfectly. Great work, and he’s very nice. Despite the reviews on Unilocal,it worked out well in a bind, and was only $ 65.

This is the worst tailor that I have ever dealt with. He and his assistant are so disrespectful and do not show any sign of courtesy or Class. If you do not want to be humiliated do not go to this store.

Mr. Santos is professional with a great attitude. Family-run business is affordable, and the alterations and repairs saved many of my outfits. I do wish they would accept credit cards, but that’s only a small critique. I have no intention of going to any other tailor anytime soon!

This is my go-to spot for all hemming and tailoring. The reason I first came here was location. Just a short drive into Metairie, it was an easy stop coming home from work. The prices are very reasonable, the workmanship is flawless. I entrusted them to do some very delicate work on the dress I am going to be married in and they did NOT disappoint.

This is the worst tailor I’ve ever dealt with. He ruined my daughter’s bridesmaid’s dress, overcharged and didn’t have it ready in time. My wife had to run over to his shop, bring it to another tailor and pay again to fix his ruination of my daughter’s dress. He treated my wife and daughter like trash. When I went over to his shop to complain, he said he would discuss it with his wife and call me. I gave him a copy of his receipt on a letter size paper with my business card. He never called me. When I went back today, he didn’t have the paper and didn’t remember at first. Then he made a derogatory remark about my daughter, said he would refund my money and pushed me out of his shop. When I came back to get the refund, he refused. This guy is a piece of garbage.

Mr. Santos has always been quick, pretty affordable and even downright cheap for lots of things I’ve needed a tailor for. I’ve had many pants hemmed by him and well as things taken up and let out. He has also gotten me out of some embarrassing jams like one time when I had a zipper on my fly rip off during a conference in Metairie he was able to get a new one sewn on in about 10 minutes and save me a drive back to Uptown to change into a new pair of pants. Numerous times he has sewn buttons on for free for me. Mr. Santos has always done efficient and quality work and I would certainly recommend him for your tailoring needs.

This is a great family-run business, and is the only dog-friendly tailor I’m aware of. I, my wife, and my dog are pretty frequent customers. Having a severe allergy to malls and shopping in general, 90% of my clothes come from the internets. Unfortunately, we live in a world of vanity sizing — a concept utterly baffling to me. So the size 34 pants I receive may actually be a generous 36 inches or more — to soothe the sensitive American consumer’s dismay at his expanding waistline, I assume. No worries, though, because a trip to see Los Santos is the next best thing to buying made-to-measure. My suits fit, my pants have just enough break, and my shirts don’t «blouse» — simple details to separate me from the sartorial trainwreck of typical American male attire. I’m pretty price inelastic when it comes to my demand for tailoring(I just pay what he charges), but I assume it’s fair.
