Specialties
We feature grilled and smoked gourmet foods artfully prepared by culinary professionals with an international flair. Embracing the American tradition of the supper club and sports bar, Hogzillas is a destination location with live entertainment, televised games and late night revelry catering to a local clientele. Although it boasts a full-liquor bar, Hogzilla’s prides itself on its selection of beer, with twelve different beers on tap changing seasonally, as well as bottled beers focused mostly on domestic labels heavily based in the Southern States.
We are known for our menu items such as frito pies, frog legs and barbecued fried rice. We’ve got great burgers, chicken and ribs.
History
Established in 2011.
Out of the most remote areas of the great Florida Everglades come whispered legends of monstrous, feral hogs, some claimed to be the size of young Brahma bulls. Armed with wicked tusks, mounds of muscle and brimming with testosterone– fueled, bad attitude, they have little fear of man or predator. Those who have glimpsed these dangerous beasts in the flesh are forever haunted by the memory whenever they walk alone in their wilderness domain. Their fears are based on reality, as witnessed in the neighboring of states Georgia and Alabama, where 1,000 + lbs. wild boars with 8″ ivory tusks have been shot, measured and weighed. In June of 2004, Georgian hunter Chris Griffin is credited with first coining the name «Hogzilla» for his now infamous, giant, wild pig. Spurred by compelling, swamp culture legends and factual reports comes a ‘Guestaurant’ that can only be described as «Redneck Chic» — Hogzilla’s Inspired Barbeque.
