Awesome place! Stopped by for a friends birthday. Love the ticket system they have set up. 1 ticket per drink or food item. Especially cool when they have some beer choices that are 2−4−1 ticket. They have cool games to play and a super cool atmosphere.

Really cool outdoor bar. It is low key and chill. Not too crowded so great place to hang out with friends. Also they are not blasting music so you can actually hear what the other person is saying.
Very interesting concept where they sell drink/​food tickets at the door and you then give the ticket to to the bartender to get a drink. I thought this was great because there are no lines to get drinks (b/​c the bartenders just pour drinks and do not have to deal with the cashiering).
The night I went they had BBQ ribs/​chicken/​pulled pork which was above average.
Service was amazing too, they had someone who would just go around picking up people’s trash.

Friday’s has a new spot and is called smashed flamingo. It’s located on the outdoor patio area of Mokai. It’s nicely decorated with pink flamingos and cool games like dominos, flip cup, fuzzball… so play away!
The bar only offers bourbon cocktails or beers… but don’t fear. the cocktails are actually pretty good and fruity.
They have a ticket system. so 5 tickets $ 35…not bad. and one ticket can also get u some grub. Didn’t try the food because it had meat on it. but everyone else seemed to be enjoying it.
Cool spot to pre-​game and enjoy our beautiful miami weather.

Smashed Flamingo is the name of a friday outdoor happy hour party that the Mokai dance club puts on out at their patio area.
It starts every friday at 6pm and it goes on until about 11PM.
Think Wood Tavern’s Sunday afternoon Backyard Boogie party meets South Beach.
They offer a lot of craft brew, bourbon cocktails, bbq grub, and dj tunes.
A perfect and casual way to ring in the weekend, although I wish they’d offer happy hour prices. Other than that, I’m a fan.
