I just got a tooth extracted and an implant placed by Dr. Mark Gutt.
Firstly, the staff was very courteous and nice and extremely professional. They made me feel very comfortable and helped me feel relaxed and calm.
Dr. Gutt is extremely professional and is a master at his profession. He is not only extremely knowledgeable but also uses the latest in digital technology.
Dr. Gutt has a wonderful chair side manner and is so so calming that I was singing along to Tom Jones during an implant surgery. :)
My appointment was painless from start to finish and everything was explained in detail and all my questions answered.
I would recommend him, above any other periodontist, for any periodontal surgery including extractions and implants.
I would rank him within the top specialists in south Florida.

I highly recommend Dr Gutt’s office. I’ve been going there for over a year and a half. The office staff is extremely nice, friendly, helpful and professional. Dr Gutt is tremendous as well. The office is very nice and relaxing. I think it’s my favorite Dr’s office ever. They do a great job with everything. I even go there for my cleanings now twice a year alternating with my dentist. I’m happy to pay a little extra because they do a great job, even much better than my dentist. The difference seems to be in the specialized attention you get here.
I also had gum grafting done by Dr Gutt. It went perfectly. A year and a half later, my gums are perfect! Extreme care, patience, diligence, and follow-​ups ensured all went well.
I cannot say enough about this office. Once again, highly recommended!

Just visited Dr. Gutt’s office for a cleaning on Monday with Marilyn Gamboa, his wonderful Hygienist.
I’d been going to a dentist in South Beach since 2004, but recently decided to switch because the last time I was there the hygienist and receptionist were less than professional– discussing their dating lives and gossiping about their friends while I sat on the chair helplessly.
Dr. Gutt, Marilyn, and their receptionist were like a glass of cold water in the middle of the desert– welcomed and needed! I was referred to the office by my fiancée who always raved about them and I’m glad I finally listened. Marilyn was very attentive and thorough. She referred to my chart a few times which made me feel great because she actually took the time to read my history. She told me what she was doing and why as she worked and made sure I felt comfortable throughout. While she was working Dr. Gutt came into the room to introduce himself and welcome me to the office, which was a far cry from my old dentist. In the 4 years that I went to his office I only saw him once and that was a year in when I needed a referral to have my wisdom teeth pulled!
Even though they require payment on the day of your visit and my insurance doesn’t fully cover the visit since Dr. Gutt is a specialist, I don’t mind. I’d rather spend a little and be able to feel confident that I’m trusting my teeth to professionals. What really sealed the deal was when I opened my mailbox today and found a personalized thank you letter from his office!
