I had to mention this place because of several reasons: 1) I did not realize that there’s an internet café in downtown Miami, 2) it is darn cheap — even by New York standards, 3) it looks pretty clean and the Dell computers with thin monitors come with Logitech web cameras. Everything looks standardized, modern and well-kept despite it being in a weird location in an old building. That being said, if you’re a tourist without a computer and stuck in downtown Miami, be thankful you won’t have to pay $ 3.25(cheapest internet café rate in Miami Beach) to $ 5(at Kafka Café, again in Miami Beach) per hour. You won’t even have to pay $ 2 for half hour as people do in New York. No… you pay $ 2 for a full hour, or just a buck for half hour! What kind of bargain is this? I don’t know, but it did get my attention despite the place looking like it’s a cell phone accessory store. Open from 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, and 10 am to 4 pm Saturday & Sunday. And the odd thing is that just across the hall in a not as well-kept store(and not even well-stocked), there’s another internet café charging the same rates, for a little bit longer — 8 am to 6 pm every single day. The name of this store is Xpress Center, Inc. But I’m reviewing this one instead of the other one simply because the computers look a tad bit better, the guy who manned the computers was much friendlier, and the place just looks better overall. I just take off one star because my perfect internet café would have good coffee or something else.
