Recently got a promotion at work, which requires me to dress in suits a few days out of the week. I purchased about 3 – 5 suits online and took them for John to tailor for me.
He charges about 20 to let out the waste and 20 for the hemming. I loved his work, quality and you can’t tell on the stitching. Looks like the clothes came tailored already from the store.
He is also very lively, the business is family owned and they’re very warm people. I really suggest you all visit him. Even though places advertise a lower price (his work may cost an extra 20% more) but you’re paying for quality.

Brought two pairs of pants to be tailored here. I was quoted the price of $ 15-​$ 30 per pair, as I only was having minor alterations done (asked to shorten the leg and bring the waist in, and specifically asked not to raise the seat). Went to pick up my pants the following Saturday (the only reason why this gets two stars — they got me my pants back in a week) and had a $ 110 charge because «it took a lot of work.» There was no call to consult and no explanation given, and the requests were rather simple — I haven’t lost or gained any weight to require large-​scale changes, I just wanted them to fit better. The seat was also been raised SIGNIFICANTLY, to the point where it’s uncomfortable to my man-​parts when I sit.
I won’t go back, and I was disapointed because all the reviews were fantastic. I’ll most likely need these to be re-​tailored because the pants are way too tight now.

John is definitely the best tailor in Miami. His prices are very reasonable and he can make the perfect suit for you. I had an issue in finding the perfect fitting pants. John fixed that by making me a custom suit with the best fitting pants.
His customer service is excellent as well. Although his clientele include famous athletes and politicians, he will give you his utmost attention.

Perhaps best known for his custom-​made suits he can also work his magic on dresses. Amongst his devoted list of clients you’ll find Miami Heats players and coaches. As impressive as that is, the best part about having John as your tailor is his sweet, old-​fashioned nature and exceptional customer service.
I once arrived about five minutes after the store had closed and I panicked. I needed my dresses for a wedding that weekend and I was flying out first thing the next morning. I called and sure enough his son drove to the shop to give me my dresses. Oh, thank goodness for caring and talented business owners.

My family and I have been customers of John The Tailor for well over 20 years. John has always been and continues to be top in his profession both in talent and customer service. He is honest, hard working and professional. Tailoring for both men and women is an art that few have perfected in the way that John has shared with his clientele over the years. We highly recommend him to all as you will be well taken care of when you pass through his front door.

The. Best. Tailor. In. Miami… well, for men. I got my previously altered suit re-​altered and was so impressed. Also, I am having him make a new suit for me. I’m especially excited for my first custom made suit. I tell all my friends to go to John, he’s simply the best.

John perfectly tailored a suit jacket for me very quickly. I had a wedding coming up at the end of the week and he got it done by weeks end. The price was reasonable, and I plan on going back to get more work done on some other jackets and shirts.

Nestled into a niche on a side street just east of Red Road in South Miami is John the Tailor who does fast and fastidious alterations of both men’s and women’s clothes. He has 2 parking spaces reserved in the front so you don’t have to worry about the traffic in the neighboring strip mall.
