Miami Royal Ballet Dance School strives to instill classical ballet orientation and disciplined elegance and grace in children and adults alike. Students are exposed to all types of classical ballet and dances from their very first step to their most scintillating performance.
History
Established in 2007.
Prior to opening Miami Royal Ballet in 2007, Lourdes has been teaching modern and classical ballet at several ballet schools in south Florida since 2002. She has also been invited to create and arrange dances for several shows in the Miami area. In 2005 Lourdes was invited by the Alabama Ballet Theater and the Puerto Rico Ballet School to help organize the 2005 summer ballet competition.

Manager
Graduated form the Escuela Nacional de Arte of Cuba in 1981 as Professor Ballerina. Lourdes Arteaga has received many awards, such as the gold medal at the International Ballet Contest in Rio de Janeiro in 1988 in the categories of Pas de Deux and best female soloist and the La Ville de Paris silver medal handed by Princess Carolina of Monaco at the International Contest of Dance in Paris.
In 1989 she joined the Teatro Municipal de Santiago de Chile as principal ballerina, where soon after she was chosen by choreographer and director Ivan Nagy to perform several roles in his choreographies.
Lourdes joined the Ballet Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1992. There she became prima ballerina and danced for twelve years in several choreographies from well known choreographers such as George Balanchine, Roland Petit, Ben Stevenson, John Cranco, and many others. In several occasions, she also danced alongside acclaimed figures like Julio Bocca and Jorge Esquivel, just to name a few.
