Terrible customer service. The lady cleaned the floors because it was raining and returned to her station without washing her hands

This Subway is disgusting. Let’s start off with the fact that there was a roach crawling in the glass as we were placing our initial order. After letting that slide, they let the guy behind skip me during the assembly line because he’s a regular. In general the floor was gross and needed to be mopped a few times. Never again.

It’s Subway. You can’t expect much. However, this place has has a cozy feel. Maybe it’s because of the older, Spanish speaking woman that works there. She makes my Subway experience pleasant and to be honest, this is the only Subway location I actually eat in at. There is also a TCBY location in here; but I am not really a fan.

This Subway holds a special place in my heart, as it reminds me of high school and my first job in the Grove. I used to always go here during lunch time, to grab a quick bite. The store is always clean, subs always fresh. You would think with such a big corporation as Subway ALL the stores would be like that, but I am sure everyone’s ran into locations that aren’t up to par. The staff mostly speaks Spanish, with broken English, which is fine for me, especially in that area, as it is expected. I did notice they hired some younger employees who were fluent in both English in Spanish. Great location.

I think I have now eaten at every Subway in the greater Miami area and this one is the best — by a long shot! I pick up sandwiches for my family every-other-week on my way home.(There is a Subway on Key Biscayne, where I live, but I don’t go there because they skimp on the toppings.) The service is great. The team here has worked together for years. They are very friendly and they are fast. They also put a decent amount of vegetables on every sandwich. The other Subways around town add tiny amounts of paper-thin toppings. This crew knows why you want a Subway and they make sure you come back for more. I have only had the TCBY once. I don’t know why they added it. This store has been remodeled just recently, but the quality and quantity did not diminish.

I hate to do this, because the service at this Subway is top-notch. Dare I say, unparalleled in the realm of fast food. Fast sandwich preparation. The manager runs a clean, tight store. The parking lot is a joke, but that’s not the store’s fault. Yet I’ve noticed this in the past few months — increasingly, the sandwiches I get here are tasting a lot like plastic. These plastic overtones are amplified if I get the sandwich toasted. It has come to bother me more and more, to the point where I’m just not coming here anymore, even though I work within walking distance. I know that plastic-y phenols sometimes are thrown off by yeast as a by-product of fermentation, which is fine if you’re trying to ferment something. Whatever the cause, I just don’t want to smell and taste molded plastic in my roast beef footlong. I shudder just thinking about it.

I’m pretty sure this place is a good distance south of Calle 8 and at least 10 blocks east of Versailles. I stopped by this Subway for a quick dinner after running errands in the Grove and Gables, and didn’t feel like cooking. When I walked in, the cashier and cook were having a very«Cuban» conversation with one of the guests. Poor old«Weekend at Fidel’s» was dragged into the conversation, as well as the certainty that an unspecified enemy of said guest was a communist. The food itself was functionally delicious. I had a footlong chicken breast sub on whole wheat. The chicken tasted fresh, and the bread fresh. The cook even got my mix of toppings correct while engrossed in the aforementioned political discussion. My only culinary disappointment was that they were out of Baked Lays and I had to settle for Sunchips. Come to think of it, the discussion which continued during dinner almost served as a form of dinner theatre. Not a bad evening at all.

I spend a lot of time at this Subway, since it’s right around the corner from our abode. Generally, I dig it. The service is pretty quick. Sometimes they’re a little inconsistent with the actual sandwich preparation, but heck, it’s Subway. What can you expect? For what it is, it’s just fine. They have outdoor tables, too. I’m not a fan of the TCBY inside, however. Bleh, doesn’t compare to tart froyo, or some of the other regular froyo places around(Whip ‘n Dip, for example). Be warned, parking in this lot is an utter nightmare at peak times. With my massive truck, I only enter when it’s not rush hour(ie breakfast or lunch), otherwise I can’t even get through.

Can’t believe no one added this Subway location!!! This is our quick lunch time getaway!!! This subway is clean and the ladies who make the sandwiches are great, they know all of us from the office. Since I’m not a soda drinker, I usually get the sub of the day with the nonfat strawberry and while chocolate soft serve for dessert — a good, healthy and happy lunch:)
