Overall an alright experience: I ordered a «little donkey,» which is a breakfast burrito with chorizo, onions, tomatoes, and home fries. The food is on point, the prices are decent for the area that the restaurant is located, but the service I received was terrible.

Really cool looking place. I had a veggie omelette and ordered a fruit tart to go. Both were yummy! Very attentive service too! I’ll definitely be going back.

I work in the same building as Sweet Point so I am a frequenter. They have an amazing selection of desserts(cupcakes, cookies, cakes, cheesecake, chocolate everything… just delicious) and they’re reasonable for being in Midtown. They serve breakfast all day and have just updated their menu with some yummy items. They also serve lunch/dinner. And have $ 2.50 beers(I think on Tuesday) and $ 16 all you can drink mimosas for happy hour. I tried their new menu the other day. I got a fresh juice with pineapple, kale and apple. It was delicious. Note, the apple is martinelli’s apple juice and not a whole apple. Martinellj’s is 100% natural though. I guess just a shortcut. I had the Molletes which is a baguette topped with refried beans, eggs made your way, tomato, chorizo, avocado and cheese. It was incredibly delicious. My friend had the ham and cheese omelette which she liked very much. I’ve so ordered several cakes from Sweet Point. You can get a cake that serves about 15 people for only $ 30. The Dulce de Leche cake is out of this world delicious. The red velvet is also great as well!

Had the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a delicious, homemade english muffin. The bread was soft and had a really delicious sweetness to it as well that was perfect. Whatever sauce they put on it was also really good. We went on a thursday so its buy one entrée get the second half off. Bill was $ 17.00 for the 2 of us!

Meh. Perhaps might have been a 3-star had i ordered something else, but my «nutty french toast» fell totally flat. Why call it «nutty», if there is not one nut to be found! Should have sent it back, but was not in the mood. Veggie omelette was no big deal, and a side of bacon the is $ 2.50 should be at least a decent portion. All and all, a wasted opportunity for a nice meal, with so many restaurants around :( I guess there’s always dinner…

Stopped in for a rainy day snack. It was kind of hard to maneuver under the coverings seeing as all the tables with umbrellas are under the covering… O_o The frappacino was pretty good nothing earth shattering; very coffee, not so much dessert drink. The red velvet cake was a little bland for my taste, but the icing was good. Red velvet is my favorite so I’m kinda picky with it though! The white chocolate macadamia cookie was delicious, soft inside and the right amount of sweet. My impression was that it was kinda expensive for what we ordered though. Nothing was really bakery fresh, but it was decent. I do love the logo for the shop though!

Stopped in for after-dinner dessert and grabbed a bread pudding to go. Not sure if due to the somewhat late hour or whether this is the case in general, but for a bakery the dessert options were somewhat limited. Cupcakes were uninspiring, the mini cheesecakes and tarts looked random(like a pumpkin colored cheesecake topped with brownie cubes, weird). It would be nice to have little signs next to each dessert describing what you’re looking at, price tags are usually a great addition as well. $ 5.00 bought me a large piece of bread pudding. They micro-wave to heat things up so I got mine to go. The bread pudding was decent, dense, halfway moist but too sweet for my taste. I’d be curious to hear what other dessert of theirs may be good. Willing to give them another shot.

Came here after we found that there were no prices on things at Acme. We were just looking for a quick breakfast-y bite. The people working there were friendly and pretty efficient. Gal behind the counter said no problem making our order to go. We got the tofu scramble wrap. It took a bit of time for it to be ready, but if they are preparing things to order, that’s fine. It was STEAMING hot, so we let it cool a bit before eating it. It came with a side of potatoes. Both the wrap and the potatoes were completely devoid of any flavor or seasoning. Fortunately, there were a few ketchup packets in the bag to salvage it somewhat. Also, no utensils were packed in with the food. Good thing it was a wrap, but the tatties had to be eatin by hand. Desserts looked fabulous and I would be interested in sitting down and trying some more items off the menu. The lighting inside is pretty atrocious however.

Very nice staff. Came here in search of a bagel with peanut butter for my early morning pre-race meal and after getting shut out at two bagel places, I was hoping for the best but preparing for the worst when I walked in. I was greeted in a very friendly manner and was told they had bagels and peanut butter! Success! As they were preparing that, I was offered a glass of water while I waited. While waiting for the bagel, I was tempted by the cookies and snagged a chocolate chip that was delicious. Although parking is a pain in the ass, the pleasant service and quality food were worth it. Four stars for Sweet Point!

I’m really surprised at all of the bad reviews… I happen to like this place… My boyfriend and I eat here often… We will either walk in or have breakfast delivered to us… Their eggs benedict is yummy… The potatoes they add as a side are delicious… I like their breakfast… And their desserts are pretty good as well… YUMMMM!!!

I had a terrific omelet(Ham and Havarti), and they were flexible w/the sides — I could substitute a salad for potatoes with no extra charge. The atmosphere is quite pleasant. I also thought the price point was just right — for example, my omelet was $ 8.50. It seems like there are places in Miami that get away with charging a whole lot more for much less. I found the service to be excellent. Really friendly staff(another thing that seems to be rare in Miami, quite frankly) that are quick to take care of you.

Came in here for some breakfast and really just wanted a croissant and a hot chocolate. Both were good. I looked on their menu and there really wasn’t a whole lot that interest me but I think they are worth a try.

This place was a huge disappointment. When I looked it up, the menu looked awesome. Prices right, convenient location… we wanted pancakes above all, so decided to give it a shot. The outside seating was nice, and coffee was good, but besides that, Ill never go back. I had the tofu scramble wrap. It was greezy and lacked flavor. I asked for salsa, and they had only ½ prepared salsa, which was better than nothing but not good. Came with potatoes that came from a frozen food section of supermarket. Then, we split the pancakes. GROSS. They were like the size of a silver dollar and hard as rock. We wanted pancakes and this was biggest dissapointment. Serves with prepackages fake syrup. Gross. It was exciting to try something new, but save your calories and have a real brunch.

My first clue should have been when I saw Faby P.‘s review on this place. That girl knows her food. But when a Living Social deal for only $ 5 is smack on your screen, you become easily tempted. I had always wanted to try this place whenever I was in the Midtown area, yet I would ened up at a restaurant near by. I thought it would be a perfect time to try this place because I scored such a great deal on Living Social. WRONG! I ordered some sort of turkey club sandwich that was more bread than meat. It was suppose to be a sandwich comprised of turkey, havarti cheese, bacon, mango chutney, and a balsamic glaze. In reality, it was all bread and some old balsamic. Needles to say, sandwich=inedible. To top it off, I paid an additional fee to change my fries for sweet potato fries only for part of the batch to still be raw. Didnt these people get school on Cooking 101. DONTSERVEPEOPLERAWFOOD! Now on to the sweets. I think this disappointed me the most. The keyword bakery is the name of their company, so you are immediately drawn to what savory things they must be baking. The display definitely intrigues you so I decided on a cookies and cream cupcake. Oh how I wish I didnt! The cupcakes were kept in the refrigerated display when thats the last place you want to keep them. The cake was stale and cold and the icing looked and tasted more like cool whip then icing. This place needs a renovation ASAP!

I want to like Sweet Point, but as I told my significant other this morning when we grabbed a quick bite to eat, there’s something about it that isn’t quite there, and I can’t pin-point it specifically, but I can list some of the little things that added up. First we were not greeted when we walked through the door, we had to awkwardly shimmy to a random table not knowing if this was the right thing to do. Finally a server approached us with some menus and asked for our drink orders, 2 waters and 2 mimosas. As we perused through the menu our waters came out but our drinks were nowhere to be found. Another server came back and took our orders and he didn’t seem to be able to answer our questions. He left and our drinks were still nowhere to be found, so we inquired about them and about 10 minutes later we saw them being made behind the counter. I ordered the«Sweet Potato» Bun. It was a tasty sandwich, but some of the ingredients were warm and others felt like they were straight out of the refrigerator. The contrast made every bite seem kind of off. The curried noodles my boyfriend ordered were also tasty, but I felt like the plate was only made of 3 of the ingredients listed on the menu. Definitely order the side of Sweet Point Potatoes, with caramelized onions and chorizo, best dish we had and it was only $ 3. All and all an average meal.

Yeah. so I have been wanting to try this place because it A) sounded cool; B) its in Midtown and C) their menu looked quirky. Anything quirky and I am in my element. The service was great and their desserts looked delicious. I didn’t try any so I can’t vouch for them. They have the standard breakfast foods. Between 5 of us we spend $ 60 bucks, so thats over $ 10 per person. Not too cheap for breakfast/lunch. My bf had a sandwich and said that his chicken was dry. Nothing worse than a dry piece of chicken breast. I was happy that they accomodated my food wishes and served exactly what I wanted just as I spoke it.(hold the fat, hold the seasoning) I liked the vibe and will probably be back for dessert and coffee some other time.

Very tasty bagel and lox. They only had one kind of bagel(whole wheat which would have been my choice anyway.) It was tender and nicely complimented with lox, cream cheese, red onion, capers and tomato… the usual suspects. My dining partner had the steak sandwich which he described as ok. The service was very friendly. They even brought Lucy a bowl of water without being asked. Nice touch. Apparently, the owner bakes everything herself. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, so that is lost on me. However, the bagel, if that was one of hers, was my cup of tea.
