This review is not for the food.(Fridays is Fridays and is always tasty) this review is for Tracey. My girlfriend and I were exhausted after vacationing in miami from chicago and landed upon Fridays in the airport, to which we were seated quickly no problem. From there we were greeted by our server(Tracey) and she saw we were tired and brought such amazing energy! We are stripes members and we were going to get chips and salsa(found out they were out of salsa) and she quickly recommended a basket of fries, to which we happily obliged. Tracey has a great ability to anticipate her guests needs, while bringing great energy and remaining cool, calm, and collected while maintaining a busy section. Nothing against tgi fridays, but someone with Tracey’s skill set should never settle for a chain restaurant. I see her going big places, and I hope she does too! Thanks for the great service!

Good service and food. However, sat at bar and had fruit flus everywhere. Walked away hoping the kitchen is cleaner!

I have to give credit to TGI Friday’s for putting in a smoking lounge in terminal D! It’s a majority covered outdoor space with good ventilation, an adequate bar menu, some local beers and good staff. I highly recommend stopping by to light up a cigar(which you can purchase in the terminal around gate D-26) and then heading over to enjoy it in the smoking area. My only complaints: this isn’t a true cigar lounge; I would love to see them have true cigar ashtrays available instead of the cigarette ashtrays, and I’d really like it if no cigarette smoking was allowed, but I’ll take it for being able to light up a cigar or two. Having some cigar accessories(lighters and cutters) available would be icing on the cake, but I don’t want to get too greedy. Thumbs up for this recent addition!

We were stuck in the airport for about 12 hours on a Sunday which meant we had to find a spot to watch football and eat lunch and dinner. This place was great. Great servers — everyone was attentive and friendly. Never had any issues finding a place to sit. The food was good(variety — nothing to rave about, it hit the spot) but the strawberry mules I had were just the best! Between the mules and the service — this is about as good as it gets at an airport restaurant.

Arrived when the location first opened on a Saturday, only 2 other parties in the entire restaurant, ordered the endless appetizers and after my first order never saw the waitress again. I had to ask for the manager. He came out and despite the fact that my entire party was done with their food and I had only had 1 appetizer, all he did was apologize, he didn’t even remove it from my bill or offer an alternative. Crazy things is this was favorite place to eat and go to happy hour. I usually don’t post on Unilocal,I read the reviews, but never post but this terrible service had to be talked about. Shame on you TGI Fridays rancho cucamonga, you used to be my favorite place. Smh

Great spot for smokers and you are waiting for your flight to depart. The menu is standard TGIF but what makes it unique is that it’s also a smoking lounge. The staff is friendly too!

Worst ever. Server was clueless as was the manager. Sat at 8pm and after waiting 20 min was told that they were out of Jim Beam but happy to up sell me Makers. Finally it arrived with a lemon in it. Food arrived sporadically for a party of 9 and we were told that the delay was due to getting«slammed». News flash… you are a restaurant in an airport. People generally don’t have time to dine so be prepared or find someone who will be. Worst management ever. My advice, walk right pass this place…

I am always bit hesitant to grab food inside an airport. Thankfully, this TGI Friday’s gave me exactly what I expected from the chain. I had one beer and was pleasantly surprised that local crafts were integrated in the selection. I was also pleased to see that the craft brew was only a buck more on tap. In fact, all the prices were reasonable! My wife and I split a slew of appetizers and were very satisfied with our visit.

I hadn’t been to a Friday’s in years and we decided to stop here on a layover. It was 9 in the morning but we had been up since 3 so we were hungry and wanted options. My pecan crusted chicken salad was great. My dining partner enjoyed his California club, but the sweet potato fries it came with(for an extra dollar) were way oversalted. Service was slow — worrisome since it’s in an airport — though it may have been due to the early hour.

Server suggested a way to save me a few bucks(thanks) Has smoking lounge too. If you aren’t purchasing anything go to the back left corner. Saw a few unhappy about this. But if not, you’re taking up space they could use to make money. Hey Friday’s, maybe do like Denver and charge $ 3 which then is credited to your bill.

We were preparing for a 15 hour international flight and had a couple hours to kill, so we wanted something familiar for dinner(no one wants an upset stomach on that long of a flight). We headed to TGI Friday’s for drinks and dinner. Upon arriving, it was fairly busy since it was about 6:00pm, but we had no problem getting a table with one side being on a booth, so we could set our small bags on it. Our server was attentive and quick with our drinks(always a plus). The had a good selection of beers and angry orchard on draft! The menu was not as large as the standalone locations, but definitely large enough for everyone to find something they like. We ended up with a couple sandwiches and were able to take our time eating and drinking without feeling rushed. The service is pretty quick so if you have about 45 mins before you board, you’ll definitely have enough time to sit down and actually enjoy your meal.

We visited this location on 7÷31÷15; we asked to be seated in a booth – the host, Andy, told us we couldn’t sit there because if was dirty – it was not; then he immediately seated a party at the table we were just denied. I wasn’t upset about not getting the table per se; I WAS angry about being out and out lied to! Our server, Michelle, was prompt & friendly; she apologized for the host’s poor behavior & proceeded to deliver fantastic service. The manager, Melissa, came out to see how everything was & she was very engaging. Giving it the average of five stars for each of the ladies & zero stars for Andy, the rude, lying jerk!

Have nothing negative to report. Highly recommended for an airport restaurant. We had great service from Romero. I had a Cobb Salad. All of the ingredients were fresh. I ate the whole thing! My husband had the JD Chicken Sandwich. He said it was fine and the fries were very good. His side salad was generous with nothing wrong. Decent draft beer list.

Uma boa opção no aeroporto de Miami. Recomendo costela com molho de Jack Daniels e o famoso Oreo madness de sobremesa.

Ok I know its a TGIF(an airport TGIF at that) but I was pleased with my breakfast. It was simple, hot, good and not too expensive considering airport prices. Our server Rico was very professional and polite. Great Customer Service! He should be team lead.

We were greeted and seated promptly after finding out our flight has changed due to technical difficulties. We informed our waitress that we have to make a flight and will need to rush our order. She said it’s fine and took our orders. When our appetizers came out they forgot to give me celery instead of chips for my spinach dip. So I had to wait until I saw the waitress to flag her over to request it. They also forgot to give us proper to go boxes as we requested while ordering for the entrée to be to go. At the end when we got our bill, I was supposed to get a free appetizer up to $ 8 but they only took off $ 2! I couldn’t even argue cause I’d miss my flight!

When it comes to choosing overpriced airport food, I’ll gladly go for recognizable brand names over places I’ve never heard of. TGI Fridays is expensive, but at least I have a good idea of what to expect in terms of food and quality. I chose their three appetizer dish and the rib n shrimp meal. For $ 14+, the three appetizer meal is mediocre no matter what you choose. And for $ 24+, the ribs have insufficient amount of meat, consisting mostly of burnt sauce. The shrimp is basically the same quality you would get from the microwaveable type you buy at Costco. Still, I’m glad I chose this over other possibilities. Bottom line is that airport prices are ridiculous.
