Our professional pet sitters provide loving and compassionate pet care in our clients homes while they are on travel. Midday walks is a popular service used by our clients whose puppy dogs need a break during the day while their owners are at work. We care for dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, fish, and most farm animals. We provide loving and compassionate care for our clients pets just as if they were our own pets. We are super dependable and pride ourselves on our reliability. You can count on us! Our professional pet sitters have lived in Middletown for many years, raising their families and are a trusted part of our community. History

Established in 2012.

Let Them Sniff Pet Sitting, was started by Liz Matejovich. Mrs. Matejovich was the previous business owner of Pet Companions, Inc. in College Park, Maryland. For 14 years Mrs. Matejovich owned and operated Pet Companions, Inc. with a team of 15 professional pet sitters and serving more then 500 pet sitting clients annually. Once she moved to Middletown in 2007, she sold Pet Companions, Inc. Her compassion and love for animals has now been moved to Middletown by the establishment of Let Them Sniff Pet Sitting. She, along with two full-​time staff members, are providing this much needed service to the wonderful families in Middletown and the surrounding communities.

Business Owner

The love of companion animals along with her long history of caring for her family pets has made Liz a life long animal lover. Providing compassionate care comes easy for her. After volunteering at an animal shelter at a young age, her drive to provide quality care for any animal in need grew. She built on this experience through working and volunteering at local shelters, kennels, and veterinarian hospitals. She completed her BS degrees in Animal Sciences at the University of Maryland in 1989, focusing on dairy cows and sheep. She continued to work with animals as she established her first pet sitting company, Pet Companions Inc., in College Park, Maryland. After 14 successful years she sold that business and moved to Middletown, Maryland with her family. In 2012, she opened Let Them Sniff Pet Sitting in hopes of introducing and sharing her compassion for animal care in Frederick County.
