Twin Pine Casino, located in Middletown, Calif., is owned and operated by the Middletown Rancheria band of Pomo Indians. The casino is open 24 hours and seven days a week. It offers a variety of slot machines with a mixture of penny, nickel, quarter, one-​dollar and five-​dollar games. Twin Pine Casino additionally offers live-​action table games that feature three-​card poker, blackjack, Pai Gow and blackjack switch. It has more than 400 slot machine games, including Power Ball, Wheel of Fortune, Underground Money, Penny Lane and Star Wars. Looking for a place to rest your bones, well look no further. We attended an event at the Castle of Love, (Castello Di Amorosa) this past Saturday night. We stay two nights at Twin Pine Casino which is about 15 miles north of the castle, why, well because it is one hell of a hotel. Clean rooms great price and very nice and friendly staff. The food at the Manzanita Restaurant was pretty good. Our server, Robert was great and oh so friendly. We don’t gamble but as far as hotels goes, Twin Pine gets a 10 in my book. So check it out if you plan a stay in Calistoga you won’t be disapointed.

What a beautiful hotel, It is well decorated and is non smoking in the hotel area. The décor is excellent. I ate breakfast there this morning. The Manzanita is a wonderful restarurant. The Twin Pines breakfast is delicious and generous. My server Crystal was very pleasant and efficient. My coffee cup was never low and I enjoyed our conversation. She is a gem and should be commended. She is an asset to staff.

Stopped in on way to Clear Lake. One members staff gave my friend Ten dollars bonus but the girl that waited on me REFUSED to give me the bonus play although the lady next to her told her she could so I really wasn’t feeling this place now. My friend LOST $ 100 bucks real fast .I put in a $ 20 bill, won forty & hit the road. Hit & Miss.

Twin Pine Casino and Hotel proved to be a good option for a two-​night stay in the Middletown area. Much cheaper than Calistoga and closer to the wineries we planned to visit.
For the most part staff were friendly and helpful. Our king room was large and very clean, although the lighting in the bathroom and vanity area could have been brighter. Our room was close to Highway 29 so we had quite a bit of noise, but we managed to tune it out.
Our biggest complaint was that the WiFi was very, very slow … so slow that we just gave up trying to connect. Upon check out, we were told that it had been worse since the Valley Fire.
Casino was smokey, but I have experienced worse. As first time visitors, DH and I signed up for the casino club and a chance at a varying amount of free play. I had the minimum of $ 20, but DH was lucky to have $ 300 on his card. We found the slots to be quite loose and both came away winners.
We ate breakfast both mornings in the Manzanita. Standard fare. Nothing special, but a fair value. We also had a light supper one evening in the Manzanita. My soup and house salad were okay, but DH raved about his giant hamburger.

We had a great stay here over the first weekend in April 2016. The gambling half of our party enjoyed playing in the casino and the non-​gambling half enjoyed the large clean hotel room and free WiFi. The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating, especially Larry Galupe, who went out of his way to provide us with information and tickets for tastings at nearby wineries. Larry even recognized us the next day as we were entering the Manzatina restaurant and told the hostess we were visiting from Alaska when he asked her to take good care of us. The food in the Manzanita restaurant was good and reasonably priced, we also had the pleasure of having Robert wait on us during dinner one evening. We are non-​smokers and even though the smoke in the casino was noticable we found the rooms to be free of smoke and isolated from the noise of the casino.

Stopped here several times over the last couple of months. Mostly weekday afternoon. Like the décor. Always found the staff friendly and helpful. Always hides my poor skills with some great conversation. Special claps go out to Justin, Rick, Kelly, and Jason at the blackjack tables. The free drink bar is nice too.

If you want good food at a reasonable price and like to play a few slots, go to Twin Pine Casino & Hotel on Hwy 29 over the hill from Calistoga about 30 minutes.
Their Prime Rib Special on Mon & Wed nights is only $ 11.99 with good size portions, if you don’t get there early they run out. We ate there Saturday night and I had the Seafood Pasta Special with prawns, scallops, talipia, other fish (?), cherry tomatoes, spinach and garlic in a white wine sauce over linguine — it was to die for. I couldn’t eat it all so I had a yummy dinner the next night.
If you stay there over night, you should check out some of the local wineries in Lake County — they’re really good.

Spent the weekend in the area. We had 3 meals here in the restaurant, no complaints. The service was great, food was terrific. Small casino, but they have all the latest slots. Only wish they had a poker room. The hotel rooms are very spacious and clean, suites are large with a large jacuzzi bath that opens into the master bedroom, and a separate large walkin shower. The reason I didn’t give this place a five star, is they should have a better air ventilation system.

Twin Pines is a decent casino, I wished they had more variety to their games, such as video Blackjack. I love their $ 3 Blackjack tables, except sometimes you get some rude players who clearly don’t know what they’re doing. It’s a pretty drive to get here. Middletown on the other hand…
Nevertheless, their Manzanita restaurant isn’t half bad. Their Twin Pines burger lives up to its name, it’s very filling. My problem with this establishment is their severe understaffing. You sometimes have two waitresses working 10 tables each, especially a major problem on the weekends. I love how the restaurant is sound proofed away from the casino noise and smoke. Their mozzarella sticks are a little disappointing. Their honey wheat ale is pretty tasty.
This place is obviously a local hangout, the bar could use a little updating. If you’re a non smoker such as myself, this place can get very toxic smelling with all the smokers, more smokers here than other local Casinos by far. I can’t complain too much about this place, when I signed up for a players club card I was awarded $ 300 free playing money, it was quite epic.

This is the best Casino I have been to so far within distance to Napa County. As a non-​smoker with a smoking husband, this has a better air quality (probably ventilation system as well) than Cache Creek and Graton. It’s a nice drive (a little winding at parts) but beautiful country, especially in the afternoon for a little drive. Ate a great meal at Manzanita Restaurant, which is also soundproofed from the noises of the casino. It made a pleasant dining experience. The food was generous portions and delicious, again better than food choices at Cache Creek. Will definitely come again and next time maybe check out the hotel rooms. ;)

Usually great food and pleasant service. The exception was when we visited New Year’s Eve without a reservation. Took an hour to be seated (understandably) but then took another hour, after we had placed our order, to be served. The food was lukewarm, and they must have had to fly the lamb chops in from New Zealand. Subsequent visits have been up to snuff.

WE stopped for lunch and had good rib eye steaks with mashed potatoes and a few other accessories. A bit pricy but they have less expensive food and money spent in the restaurant is a much better deal than out on the casino floor. Years ago this was a pretty good casino and usually full of players. Today I doubt if there were more than a couple dozen. It soon became obvious why. They seem to need a machine mechanic. The first two machines refused to accept money – kept spitting the bills back. The third machine accepted the bills after several attempts. The machine appeared to be set to not payback anything. Very greedy.
Next try was the KENO machines. They gladly accepted the bills but Twin Pine Casino has set them much tighter than any other casino I’ve been in. For example; on Cleopatra KENO, 3 hits out of 4 at any other casino pays 5 to 1. Twin Pine pays 3 to 1. Games with any payback were rare. I thought that Graton was greedy but compared to my experience at Twin Pines, Graton seems generous.
But, the meal was good and it’s a pleasant small casino to lose your money at.

OMG! My most disappointing Mothers Day experience at a restaurant hands down! My daughter and grandchildren flew in from Hawaii for Mothers Day .We were starved and tired so when we got there they seated us in the over flow which was fine because three year olds and babies can be a little loud sometimes. The server was kind and hospitable but the kitchen was obviously short handed and inexperienced After two hours of waiting our food came out under cooked burnt and cold. We left the food, paid and went to subway. After paying $ 100 with tip for a family of five that prompted me to call the manager Carl who did nothing to acknowledge his poor preparation for the Mothers Day flop. The one star is for that hard working, underpaid server. I’d give her five because she earned it.

Manzanita restaurant is a nice quaint place to eat breakfast. They have a variety of delicious large size pancakes. We had them coated with powder sugar and blueberries. Don’t forget the bacon and sausage which were a nice portion size. Service was friendly and great.

Twin Pine casino is a nice casino and hotel very close to Clear Lake (15 minutes). They have a decent sized casino for the area and poker room. The rooms are very nice for the area. They also have lots of promotions in the casino.
I have great experience with the management resolving some issues I had. The customer service communication was very good and resolved the issue quickly.
It is the best casino that I have been to in the Clear Lake area.

YUCK! THE STENCH IN THIS ASH TRAY DISGUISED AS A CASINO IS DISGUSTING!
We saw the ads on TV and so we *thought* this would be a fun place to play some slots. But we hadn’t gotten more than 10 feet inside the door when the overwhelming stench of rancid cigarette smoke hit us with both barrels. We were both totally disgusted and my girlfriend (she is super sensitive to smells) immediately said to me «OMG I can’t stay in here» and walked right back out with me right behind her. That was it for us and Twin Pine Casino. Yes I do realize this is an Indian casino and because of that they are exempt from California’s smoking ban, and if the overpowering putrid smell of tobacco odor doesn’t bother you then you probably won’t care. For everyone else, well, don’t believe the commercials — they don’t mention the stink or the fact that when you leave you’ll be taking that stink with you via your clothes, hair, etc…

This review is not about the people that works in this casino.
First to get here you have to drive for ever in a dangerous road but finally I arrive there and I thought that this casino, being this far is going to be friendly with the machines, I played from 7:00pm to 4:00 am and I didn’t see anybody winning.
You may wonder if nobody was winning, how come I play for so long, well, when you go to the bank, there is a limit of how much you can take out, lets say $ 400, guess what, in here there is no limit of how much you can take out of your bank account and I know that because I was drinking and playing a lot, of course no winning and I got like 4 bonuses the whole night and sometimes the bonuses where lest than my bet, can you believe that. well, I found out that you can take as much money of your bank account in here as you want, I know that because today I went to the ATM and you guess right, no money, I spent over $ 2000 dollars.
So, if you want to drive forever in a dangerous road, have you bank account clean, this is the place for you,
