I have placed orders online from this restaurant several times and never had a bad experience me being a restaurant on on myself I give them a thumbs up because I’m very picky and whenever I travel to Midland this is one of the first places I go I love the club sandwich it’s one of the last few delis you can access it at a decent table and there was serve you its not fast food

Ordered online for pick up. Food was ready, it was just two Berry Pecan Chicken Salads. It was on a tray, not packed in a bag ready to go. We just ate there since there was seating available.

Slowest service ever!!! Ordered online, waited 20 minutes to pick it up at the call-​in line and surprise it was wrong. Avoid this place all costs.

This place is the worst I’ve visited. By a long shot. I enjoy McAlister’s, but I ate the worst sandwich of my life in this building. Cold, stale, and with a just plain rude amount of grilled onions. You may be thinking, «I love grilled onions.» No you don’t, not this much. I was served a grilled onion sandwich with a roast beef garnish. This, to my dismay, was not a one off experience. Round 2 of the suckatude came in the form of a southwestern chicken something or other and some tortilla soup. The sandwich had one slice of avocado, and three baby slices of chicken… the babiest. Soup was cold and, again, fully saturated with onions. Only this time they were of the raw and green variety. There were so many that my tortilla soup was tansformed, in essence, to southwestern onion bisque. This place is awful, do not go. Ever. For any reason. But for real though, don’t.

The table was dirty and the lines are long and move slow. Beside that, the food tasted good. My sandwich could have used a little more meat, but it was fine. The cole slaw for my side tasted good. It was marinaded nicely with lots of flavor. If you’re patient, this place would be a good fit for you. Other wise, order ahead.

I love mcalister’s but this place needs to be cleaned up. Floors and tables are usually dirty. Funny smell coming in the side door for the carry out orders. I know they’re by the interstate and they’re busy but this place can end up giving Mcalister’s a bad reputation.
The food is always great. And the sweet tea is superbly syrupy. I usually order online and pick up to eat there instead of ordering at the restaurant. The line is almost always out the door during lunch. Still a line for pickups but it moves quick. By the way Starbucks is next door.

Made a pit stop while driving through for business. Stopped for lunch around 2 in the afternoon and the place was empty. We made our order and went to sit down. After we sat we saw a huge plate (24−30″) of tortilla chips and a big bowl of queso delivered to the only other people in the restaurant.
It looked amazing, and we were hungry, so I made my way to the counter to ask what that was and to inform them that they needed to make another for us. The girl behind the counter politely informed me that it was the nachos plate (but I would call it chips & queso) and said she would bring it out to our table. A minute or so later she appeared with ours and would not let me pay for them.
I learned the only things better then there ice tea are free ‘nachos.’

So here is what happens when a restaurant is left in the hands of teenagers:
The overriding fact is that the kids preparing the food have the idea that «really good food» comes from a Sysco truck aka Buffalo Wild Wings. Having no friggin idea how to prepare even the most basic paint-​by-​number salad or sandwich they served a distorted mess that bore little resemblance to the menu items.
The Southwest salad was a pound and a half of lettuce with, I kid you not, 6 black beans and pieces of corn, 3 chips with a glob of guacamole and 3 anemic tomato slices! The turkey, cranberry sandwich was soggier and more slimy than a bog. We stared dismally, picked gingerly and left $ 20 lighter and without any lunch.
I guess they need to remember that if you’re going to open a restaurant you SHOULD HIRE A COOK!

Had lunch here just passing through. It was okay and the service was quick. Place was crowded.
Went back when passing through the other direction for dinner and was disappointed. Service was slow, the place was a wreck — dirty, littered floor — tables left un-​bused — etc… Will probably skip it next time through.

I absolutely love their mac&cheese. I also love the french dip sandwich with provolone or swiss, and a side of horseradish. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The sweet tea is excellent too.

I feel like I’m totally biased. I’m from California. Our potions are dastardly small. We’re pretentious folk who love things organic and farm raised.
Coming here, they redefined what regular size was. The «regular» sweet tea drink (which they sell for 5 dollars a gallon) was HUGE! And it was CHEAP!
Food wise it’s pretty standard. Just larger.
But that sweet tea… I’d come back for that… even if I have to visit the birth place of George Bush again –_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​–

I love McAlisters! This one doesn’t disappoint. The location is a little wonky, but I read that they are building another one on the Northwest side of town! Don’t miss the sweet tea, and the most unique chicken tortilla soup you’ll find!

My last stop on the way out of town. I usually get the tuna salad sandwich on wheat, but this time I went for the New Yorker on rye. It had corned beef and pastrami with melted Swiss. I should have asked for mayo because it was a little dry. But the flavor was good. I also had a cup of the chicken tortilla soup which is my favorite at McAlister’s; especially when the weather is as crummy as it was on Sunday morning.
The employees are friendly and helpful. Although, I still haven’t figured out why they built this place on the south side of town.
