We had Michael cater the reception for my father n laws funeral what an amazing job he did for us. By assisting us in preparing the menu to making the food personally and delivering and set up We could not ask for anything Everything was perfect

I’ve been waiting two hours for delivery. Unacceptable and they said it would be 45 minutes. Called twice asking about my order and both times they said it was on its way. It’s been 20min since my last call. Completely unacceptable without advance notice

As generic as Italian can get, just bland standard food with severely disappointing quality. Almost got sick at the restaurant and again on the way home. Wayyy better options out there. Bright spot that service was good.

This has been mine and my families«go to place» since I can remember and I’ve had my random bad experiences there but nothing major that would deter me from going there until tonight. All we ordered was two grinders and a side of fries and can’t forget the soda we ordered, except the driver did. And instead of bringing us the warm food and returning with soda(which I would have probably said don’t worry about it) he was sent back to «homebase». I’ve worked and still work in food industry so I didn’t even call to check on our order until it was over an hour and half. When I called was put on hold for 8 mins then told the mistake with soda. By the time that they arrived with our food I was not only half full of snacks I munched on to hold me over I np longer had an appetite after 1 bite of my meal. Fries weren’t just soggy and lukewarm they were soggy and ice cold. My chicken parm? Ice cold and cheese was actually very hard and my boyfriends steak and cheese was far from better. I would LOVE to give them a better rating but sadly me giving them 2 stars is more then generous lately. Too many mediocre meals in the last 6 months to continue to give my precious money to them. Maybe new manager or something started there cus def isn’t the Michael Anthonys I grew up on and continued to crave. It’s a shame.

I’ve been to this place twice and the first time I had chicken Parmesan. It was excellent and the service was great! The rooftop is cool in the summer. The second time I went was for restaurant week(October 2015). I wanted to try something different so I went with the mussels over pasta dish. It was very good… Until 1 hour later. I had horrible food poisoning for two days. I’m a young, healthy person but if an elderly or suppressed immune system individual was served that dish they would definitely be in some trouble. I’m bummed because I know this place has great food but I’m concerned about the food safety practices going on in the kitchen. I want to give them more stars but this incident scared me from enjoying shellfish. I probably won’t ever return to Michael Anthony’s.

Still deciding if we will go back. The chicken parm was amble and good. However, the eggplant parm was absolutely awful — I couldn’t even eat it. Where was that delicious crispy meal that I enjoyed — not here!

Yes, I grew up in a restaurant and now I run one, I don’t do reviews unless, I’m really pissed, I was bringing my boys(3 of us) out to dinner tonight, figured we would go here, foods great, walked in and was told they were cleaning a table for us, that it would be just a couple minutes, a 4 top walked in and they gave our table to them, When I asked when our table would be ready, the hostess said«well they were a 4 top» Then we waited a half hour for the next table, which could also fit 4 people. I will never go back here. They need to learn all customers are worth their time, not just the ones they feel will bring more money. our waiter was great.

The food is OK but their hours are questionable… Been there twice. Once I went there during the week which they say they are open until 10pm. We had a great food experience and around 9pm we decided to leave the dining room and head to the bar. At that time, the bar stools were up and they were prepared to close. We assumed it was a slow night and didn’t give it much of a second thought. We decided for another glass of wine down the street. However, I went back with someone else on a Sunday night at 7pm. Their website states they are open until 9pm. We went in to find their dining room closed, and the waitstaff informed me that their kitchen had just closed. All in all, this place would be amazing if they committed to being open during the hours that they advertise. If they don’t stick to these hours, they will lose me as a customer, as I regularly dine there.

Real sauce on pizza?! Have I died and meet my nonnie in heaven? This is the first time I’ve gotten delivery from Michael Anthony’s, actually, it’s the first time I’ve had their food, period. The wait time was 45 minutes, as I was told it would be. The food arrived hot and fresh. I got a large mozzarella with mushrooms, black olives and onions… Excellent! I also got an order of buffalo wings. A little sweet for my taste but still delicious. I will certainly be ordering there again! They stay true to their Italian name!

Michael Anthony’s has always been our favorite place for pizza in the Milford area. We recently used it as a party venue for our daughter’s Christening and were extremely happy with the way they handled the event every step of the way. Our entire family had a wonderful experience and everything was done beautifully. Prior to the event Michael, the owner, met with me personally to explain the menu and various dining options. He was extremely personable, professional, fair, and up front about every detail. He takes pride in his establishment and it shows. Leading up to our event the staff called me several times to review the details of the party and menu. They also set up the room for me(flowers, gifts, cake, photos) and it looked beautiful. We had about 40 people and the space was perfect. The room was clean, bright, and comfortable. The food was delicious! My family raved about each course(a variety of pizzas for apps, salad, penne ala vodka, chicken marsala) and everyone was very full and happy. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Michael was there at the end of the party to help us clean up and see how everyone had enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend Michael Anthony’s for pizza any night of the week, a family dinner at the restaurant, as a caterer, or as a venue for a party. Sit back and enjoy while you visit with your guests and everyone enjoys good food, drink and family time together!

My wife and I came here for dinner after seeing mostly positive reviews on Unilocal.Service was absolutely horrible, had to wait 45 minutes for a pizza and an eggplant parmigiana. After finally getting our food, we were disappointed. This has to be one of the worst restaurants I have been to in Milford. I would never come back here. Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews. Save your time and money and go somewhere else, anywhere else.

Had apps and drinks, the meatballs were humongous and delicious all at the same time. Someone’s grandmother knew what they were doing. The caprese salad was the bomb, freshest tomatoes all season! Will most positively be back for more.

I’m not one to easily give one star to a restaurant but this one deserves it. I’m guessing the 4 stars on the other reviews are for the pizza because what a disappointing pasta dish I had. I didn’t even finish it and I was hungry which usually helps you get through a bad meal. Not this time my friend. No flavor what so ever. I mean Italian food without a hint of garlic. The place from the outside looks great and the staff was very friendly but unfortunately I didn’t go for that I went for the food. Hope you meal is better if you try it.

You MUST try the Wild Boar Parpadelli! It’s a traditional northern Italian(Tuscan) menu item, but most places don’t offer it or worse, they don’t use real wild boar meat! This is the real deal and must be tried. It’s the best I’ve had since Il Forno closed. With all the uninspired menus out there, take the time to try this. If wild boar isn’t your thing, the pizzas and other dinners are good too. The dining room is a little small but there is a roof top deck when the weather is good. There is an over abundance of pizza restaurants in Milford, but this is definitely a good option, for the dinners as much as for the pizza.

Came in for the 1st time looking for a bar to drink martinis since Bin 100 was filled. Wound up eating dinner and hanging at the bar for several hours with the friendly owners. Martinis were v/good and we had clams casino to start and the special wild boar osso buco over risotto. Big yum with good flavor and a large portion that fed the two if us. And we got a cheese pizza to go for the next day. after dinner some wine and bourbon while chatting with the owners made for a good evening. We’ll be back for pizza and drinks again — worth a trip to this part of Milford. And the outdoor, roof-top patio should be fun when it warms up.

Babe found this place. It’s very good and the portions are generous. I love that the alfredo sauce is made fresh and the leftovers are amazing because the sauce thickens nicely. His lasagna was tasty, but the sauce needed a dash of sugar. I enjoyed the chocolate lava cake. I went with this as a second choice to the mousse(unfortunately it was sold out) but it was amazing. I was worried because other restaurant lava cakes I have tried tend to be dry with cheap chocolate sauce splashed around and in the center. But their lava cake was warm, fresh, moist, and the molten chocolate was very good.

Simply incredible food! The sauce is off the charts, you HAVE to try it. They have an artichoke, prosciutto and garlic pizza that is simply incredible. I almost had a religious experience after tasting this. It blew me away. We sat at the bar and met Susan the bartender and a true foodie herself. She told us that the restaurant used to be only take out food when it was at their other building down the street. Now they have a small bar and small sit down area that is very clean and very fresh. Also for the summer time clients they have a small rooftop area. Now again, my only thing is you need to understand this place is EXCELLENT quality dishes and top notch ingredients and was a take out place for many years so there is seating is just for a few but quite honestly well worth the wait during the peak times. If you go on the off times you will love it. Customer Service is fantastic, the owner came out and said hi. The chef that made our pizzas came out and told us some background on the pies that we ordered. Just some very good people and very good food. You can’t go wrong with this stop.

I get a take out pizza from here every weekend. The food is great. I’ve dined in a couple times, and the service was good. On the rooftop, you have a beautiful view of the marsh. They do take reservations, which I recommend if you want the rooftop in the summer.

The fire roasted pizzas are delicious. Nice new spot overlooking the Golf Pond salt marsh. Attentive staff and awesome martinis! I wish Carmen and his partners best of luck with their new joint.
