Seat Pets

I ordered 2 pets on ⁷⁄₁ (including «EXPEDITED» handling) and FINALLY got them today! When I ordered, their site said delivery time was 3 – 4 weeks.
After inquiring several times on when they expect to ship, I got the same «2 weeks» estimated answer each time. Then I got notice 2 weeks ago that they discontinued one of the pets I ordered, so I had to choose a replacement. When I received email confirmation of my modified order, they got the replacement pet WRONG… so I had to call and get that corrected!
THEN when I finally got email notice that the order shipped, they had an INCOMPLETE shipping address (they left off my unit #, even though it showed on the original order)… USPS managed to get them to me anyway (YEA USPS!). The SeatPets Customer Service answer when I notified them was, «If you don’t get them by Saturday, let us know.»
I think I exercised GREAT patience throughout this process and although the product is cute, if I knew then what I know now, I would NEVER place an order with this company!

Do not order from these people — go to Toys R Us. Customer service is a call center in India with limited phone time for people with jobs — no evening service (9 – 5 Eastern time). But the worst problem was after I cancelled the 2 orders I received an email in the evening when I could not call, advising that my orders had been shipped. Furthermore the total on the computer invoice was $ 61.95. The call center person told me the total would be $ 67.53. He indicated it was an additional tax which seems very strange that it was not included on the invoice.
A further note: one day after I placed 2 telephone calls to this call center in India, the following day I received a «scam» phone call from a call center obviously in India that said they were «Windows Technical Computer Department» and that there were serious problems with my computer and he was calling to access my computer and «fix» it! He was quite insistent. He hung up when I told him I didn’t let anyone on my computer that I did not know and I had my own IT service. A quick Google check revealed others have received this scam call. It seems very «non coincidental» that the call came in on the very line I used to call the call center for Seat Pets and they record your order info with your phone number as well.
I would not give even 1 star if there was that choice.
