It’s the worst chaînés restaurant I ever visit. The food is soon bad. The worker and the location is so dairty. She bring us water and the water drops from her hand on our table. The vegetable soups was look like just boil all leftover vegetables.

This is for lunch picked up on Friday, 1⁄8. Husband wanted Chinese for lunch so as I had errands in the area I decided I’ll pick up lunch from here. Posted in window was the 2 choice with fried rice, noodles or rice for $ 7.75. Can’t go wrong with prices like this. Quick, prompt service. Order taken and I needed a side order of pork hash. This is where it gets weird. In all my 50+ yrs I’ve only know pork hash as the tasty ground pork wrapped in a wonton pi wrap that looks like a little present for my taste buds. I didn’t see a side order of pork hash on the menu so I asked the lady what size is the container. She motions the size of take out box. I’m thinking ok maybe about 8 – 10 pieces. It’s $ 8.95 for this side order. Order is ready in less than 15 mins and I’m on my way home. Husband is hungry so he actually comes out of the house to help me carry the food in. He opens the box of pork hash and he shouts, «what’s this?» I’m in the other room so I couldn’t understand what he meant. He’s giggling with tears in his eyes and tells me to open the box of pork hash. I’m like what’s so funny? Well, this is the first time I’ve EVER seen a large patty of pork with sauce passed off as pork hash. It was the tasty filling for the wonton pi wrap but shaped like a hamburger patty with sauce! The plate lunches were delicious and so was the pork hash patty. It’s my fault for not specifically asking how many pieces of pork hash is in the side order. I know what not to get from this restaurant!

Haven’t been here in awhile since another Chinese restaurant opened closer to where I live. However this is the only Chinese restaurant in Mililani that serves Jook. It’s not on the menu but it is available. Served with slivers of ginger, chicken and green onions. This is my remedy when I’m feeling under the weather.

I was craving some Chinese today and I saw this place on Unilocal and despite the reviews, I figured, ‘hey, it can’t be that bad.’ And it really wasn’t. I walked in and noticed everyone was waiting for their take out. But we decided to eat in. I’m giving it 3 stars for the food and service. The food was fine. We got general [tso] chicken and beef and asparagus with white rice. One bowl of white rice was good for 2. & the service was quick. Water, hot tea, and food came out in a timely manner. Servers were really nice. –2 stars for the bird that was flying around. Yes, a live bird was flying around. & not joking, it flew at my head and I had to duck. The servers were all trying to set it free but the bird was right above me on a painting for most of my meal. It was pretty distracting. And the venue wasn’t a 5-star looking restaurant. It looked like your regular Chinese take out spot but a bigger space with a lot more tables. They advertise that you can rent the place out for big parties. There is a nice chandelier in the middle of the place. But despite the bird flying around, it really isn’t that bad of food. If you want Chinese food, you can get it here.

The service was good here. Everybody was friendly. I had the lemon chicken and my husband had the pork fried rice and they were both decent.

Food and portions were awesome. I bought General’s Chicken, Mongolian Beef, with 2 servings of white rice. By far the best Chinese restaurant I’ve had since I’ve been on island. We ordered to go which was extremely fast, but they had clean and quiet establishment with plenty of room for parties. The customer service was great and extremely kind. Definitely recommend this place for kids and families. Parking might be a little difficult because the parking is shared with a whole strip of businesses but it isn’t bad. Prices are pretty affordable too. If you are looking for some good, fair priced Chinese food, this is the place. I will definitely be coming back.

Ordered the won ton min, beef broccoli cake noodle, and crispy gau gee. My family ate everything I ate except the char sui meat that came with the soup. A few hours later I developed a fever with diarrhea and vomiting. The funny thing was as I was chewing the char sui it tasted different from others that I was used to. This was our first visit and definitely our last.

Of all the times I ate here I have never found a roach in any of our food. I love their food our favorites if looking for something to eat fast it is a dinner plate. If we eat there we order their shrimp canton, egg fuyoung, lemon chicken, manuapua with char siu, beef broccoli, crispy gau gee min and a side of sweet and sour sauce yummy for my gau gee… I love this place and if my grandma was still alive she would also love to eat here… This is the best chinese in the area I have ever came across… I tried the new one at the mall and the other one in mauka and they have nothing on Maile chinese… Thank Maile for your awesome food…

Food is sub par. I have been to many Chinese restaurants in my life time and I must say I have had better. I cannot believe that it cost $ 50 dollars for rice for a party of 25 that’s is insane. I will not be coming back anytime soon.

It was our first time eating here with my family and we had such excellent service. We ordered several dishes and it was all delish, I called it comfort food. If you’re craving for Chinese food you need to check this place out. We drove an hour just to eat here for dinner and it was worth it!

Maile has been my families go-to spot for Chinese in Mililani for years. Although there are restaurants in town and other parts that I like better, Maile is my favorite in this area. I’ve always liked their wonton mein, perfect on a cold day. The broth, noodles, and dumplings are all good. I like my soup very hot temperature wise, this could have been heated up more. My favorite dish at any Chinese restaurant is crispy gaugee mein! Maile’s gaugee are crunchy and fat. The noodles and veggies are good, again I wish the gravy was a little hotter, temperature wise. Stuffed tofu is pretty delish, too. They stuff firm tofu with pork hash and smother it with oyster sauce. Yum! This too could be hotter! The waitress we had on our recent visit was very friendly!

!! Day After Update: My partner got Food Poisoning and the only food we didn’t share atleast half of each other’s portions was from this place where she had the Kung Pao Chicken. I do not know why this place has stayed open for this long. The girl at the front was so rude, she wasnt doing anything and didn’t even acknowledge us… instead she was looking in a pocket mirror and was checking her make up or something. We were like ummm… do we seat ourselves or something? Unbelievable. The food is just like the service, lousy. The temperature of the food was hit or miss. Mine was room temperature but my partner’s was hot when served. Prices here are about $ 1 cheaper than your typical chinese restaurant but rather pay the higher prices elsewhere for better food. Will I be coming here again? No, I’ll stick with other chinese restaurants around Mililani. They’ll atleast acknowledge me when I go through the front door.

Upon first sitting we made our shoyu mustard like we always do at Chinese restaurants. This time however, I found a tiny roach in my sauce… we had already ordered, so we just sucked it up and had dinner. The meal was unflavorful, and I think paranoia also made the meal worse. Looking and examining every bite for creatures is NOT how a meal should be enjoyed… We will not be coming back here, I wish I read the reviews instead of sitting down eagerly because we were starving!

First time I came here my husband and I ordered the oyster chicken cake noodle and the honey walnut shrimp-both had good portions but were way too salty. We decided to give this place another chance and tried the crispy skin pork. It was so delicious and they give you a fair amount. I would come back just for this. I see a lot of families and older folks coming here so there must be something else I should try.

The huzzband & I ate here for the first time a few weeks ago. This restaurant is located in the Mililani Shopping Center, close to Foodland. Although there’s a big parking lot, you might have a tough time finding parking depending on what time it is. We ordered a feast for two! Chicken corn soup, fried won ton, Beef chow mien with choy sum, shrimp canton, and beef with chinese peas. Everything was really good, and the dishes came out fast. The only thing we probably wouldn’t order again was the fried won ton because there were 10 pieces in the order and too much for us to eat between just the 2 of us.(Wasn’t so good the next day since it wasn’t crispy anymore.) Next time I want to try the dinner plate… I checked out some of the photos and it looks delicious!

OK, here is another one of my 1 star reviews… Sorry but I just have no choice! I know that many of you that have read some of the reviews by other Unilocalers and the alleged dumpster diving incidences. I never really tried to believe these things. Seems like such a horrible thing to have to say about a place, right? But I know enough people that have come to share their own personal stories and eye-witness accounts. I just chalked it up to the previous ownership – but who really is to know, right? AANYWAYSSSSSS… The other night, my favorite foodie friend and I were super tired from a long day at his own establishment. No way would we(nor could we) eat another ounce of Thai food. Feeling über exhausted, we opted for something close by. MAILECHINESE was where we decided. It was close enough… and the BF said that he used to enjoy their food(previous ownership, of course), so we thought it would work for the night. Here is what we ordered: *Spicy Shrimp 2.5÷5 *Fried Tofu and Chinese Peas 2⁄5 *Seafood Chow Fun 1.5÷5 *Lemon Chicken 0⁄5 *Crab Rangoon 1⁄5 Everything was utterly flavorless! The Lemon Chicken was DISGUSTING! Seemed like it was thrice fried and left over from the day before. In fact, this is what the BF’s «mini me» ordered and he actually spent the night hanging out circa el bano. Horrible!

Short version: This is a typical Chinese run Chinese restaurant. Stick with the«normal» dishes and you’ll be fine. But reach beyond what«normal» chinese food is, you are on your own. Long version: We’ve been coming to Maile for over 10 years. The people opened the restaurant many years ago are still running it. It is a genuine family-owned-and-run type place you’ll find all over the world. The food is fair with a few surprises. The menu is rather diverse so choose with care. I’ve been trying many different dishes and here are some very good ones: Walnut Shrimp — The walnut is sweet and crunchy, the shrimp is plump and never overcooked. Salt and Pepper Shrimp — Order this extra crispy and you eat the whole thing, head, shell, and all. Salt and Pepper Pork Chop — Juicy pork chop with a kick. Chinese Style Beef Stew — This is my goto comfort dish. If you like clam and they say they have fresh onces, order it with black bean sauce. That’s very good too. Other decent dishes include: Kung Pao Chicken, any of the stir fried meat with mushroom, snow peas, baby corn, etc. Typical cold ginger chicken, chinese roast pork, char siu, and roast duck are all decent. If noodle is your thing, minute chicken with cake noodles can’t go wrong. Choi Sum with Oyster Sauce is always a good standby. Dishes to stay away from: I’m not a big fan of their fried wonton and crispy gau gee. Too much wrapper(thus oil) for my taste. I had mixes experience with mongolisan beef, sweet and sour anything, and black pepper beef to really recommend them. We sometimes get the chicken corn soup if we are in the mood but it is only fair, not a must try. Take this place for what it is: a family run chinese place in a strip mall. It isn’t 4⁄5 star by any stretch of imagination. But it is a decent place to get a fair chinese meal without paying an arm and a leg.
