This place had a certificate showing they passed their health inspection, but from the looks of the interior I wonder how. We ordered the Menu for Four. It was a lot of food. That and the crispy chicken were really the only positives of this meal. The noodles in one dish were hard and the sauce on this and most of the other dishes smelled and tasted old.

Can’t beat the $ 5.00 lunch plate and for. 50¢ more with fried rice. The dinner plate is $ 5.50 with fried rice. They don’t always seem busy. But during the day they have many take out orders for the plate lunches. The owner said she hasn’t raised the price on the plates for many years. Prices are reasonable. May not be the best but good enough for me. The owners a snappy Chinese lady but she’s cool. Sometimes she might give an almond cookie too.

Won’t be going back. went in for some takeout, and the place was almost empty, just one other family in the restaurant. ordered our food and waited about a half hour. when we got home to eat, hubby’s fried rice was burnt and he only got 3 pieces of kau yuk in his egg flower soup was a joke. luckily the crispy gau gee was okay. the owner seemed a bit rude and snappy, this restaurant gets 1 star because we received a couple of cookies for our children.

I wonder how this place stays in business. I live just down the street and every time I pass by, the place is devoid of customers. The food is OK but the prices are reasonable and it’s convenient for me. I’ve had better food but also had to pay more and travel farther so this is a decent alternative.

Food is good Prices are great Service is good… nice family run place Rice cake! Atmosphere is kinda gloomy. Needs updating. Too many handwritten signs stuck to the windows. I continue to go there because I like to support the small family businesses in my hometown. I hope you can do the same.

Enjoyed the«Mongolian beef»… came on a sizzling platter. Everything else was ok. I wouldn’t want to drive from Honolulu to Wahiawa, just to eat there. Service and the friendliness of the owner is very good… Parking in the back.

Reasonable and good. Mongolin beef comes sizzling and has a good spicyness to it. Family owned. The owner is a hard working lady.
