Specialties

Group Dog Exercise — We provide safe, fun on or off-​leash play groups for our canine clients at local parks, beaches, and trails. The groups consist of no more than 4 — 5 dogs at a time and we guarantee that your dog will be at one of these amazing Marin locations for at least 60 minutes. While out on the trail or beach, beyondPets caregivers make sure that your dog gets plenty of exercise and socialization in a safe and loving manner.

History

Established in 2006.

Storm and Piglit are the real bosses here at beyondPets™. When Mark is hard at work on the road, Storm serves as President, taking care of all beyondPets™ office needs. Business Owner

beyondPets™ was founded by owner Mark Neubert. After working in the hotel and restaurant business for twenty years, where long work days and constant travel forced him to leave his own dogs at home or in the care of others, Mark discovered that there were very few reliable, professional, and caring pet care providers. After a bit of soul searching, Mark followed his heart and his passion and left the restaurant business to start his own five-​star dog walking business designed to cater to clients like himself — those who want quality, professional pet care for their four-​legged family members. Mark brings a unique combination of class, expertise, and attention to detail to the dog walking and training business.

Mark and his team have been walking our greyhound, Coco, for about 5 months, and we couldn’t be happier. We occasionally work from home, so we’re around to say hi when Coco’s walkers come to pick her up. She goes completely nuts with excitement when they come to pick her up, which says everything about how well she is being treated!

I have been with Beyond Pets for over three years and highly recommend Mark and all of the dog walkers who work for him. I interviewed a dozen dog walkers before deciding to go with Mark. The things I like most about Beyond Pets are:
Dependable, reliable and trustworthy: They come when they say they are going to come. If your dog has special needs, such as medications, they make sure the meds are administered and administered properly.
Considerate: Even on the rainiest days, you would never know the dogs were out in the rain as they are cleaned up and dried off before they are dropped off at the house.
Proper exercise: As opposed to some dog walkers who take dogs to a park and stand around, Beyond Pets gets the dogs moving out on the trail or around the neighborhood.
Flexibility and customization: Mark will work with you to customize a plan that works for you and your dog — time, frequency, duration, terrain, are all taken into consideration to ensure that you are happy and your dog’s needs are met. If your schedule changes, they are more than happy to work with you to ensure your dog walking needs are met.
Great communication: Communication is easy and timely via email, phone of text message. Mark is very responsive and answers all communication quickly and professionally.
Good value: Relative to other dog walkers in Marin and San Francisco, their rates are very fair and competitive.
Overall, you cannot go wrong with Mark and Beyond Pets. You can’t put a price on the peace of mind that comes with knowing your dogs are in good hands and well taken care of.

Wrigley was my sidekick for the 1st seven yrs of his life as I was a SAHM, and when I had to go back to work it broke my heart to have to leave him at home. I couldn’t trust just anyone with my dog. Mark came highly recommended, and he has never let me down. It’s been several months now and worth every penny we pay to know our sweet boy is well cared for with BeyondPets. Mark is very professional and has been very accommodating when I’ve asked for impromptu walks for Wrigs. Mark and his crew are the best! Also, props to Kellirose!

I started using Beyond Pets a couple of months ago. I moved from SF to Mill Valley and needed to change dog walkers because my dog walker in SF did not walk in Mill Valley. So far everything has been great. Mark obviously cares about the animals in his care and has been responsive and professional. He is also been flexible with my schedule and the move has been a breeze. I called a couple of different dog walkers when I moved to MV and most of them took forever to return my calls… Mark was the opposite and at a very reasonable price. I would recommend him to anyone looking for dog walker in Mill Valley.

Mark of Beyond Pets is beyond incredible!
Between weekends away and vacations we travel about 30 days a year. For the last four years, Mark has been taking care of our beloved pooch. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Beyond Pets. Mark is incredibly diligent – making sure that various pills are administered; dedicated – overcoming unexpected challenges to care for our dog; and, most importantly devoted – our Australian Shepherd adores Mark. There is no doubt that she gets tons of loving and good exercise while we are away. Before finding Mark, we tried other services – they simply do not compare to Beyond Pets.

I highly recommend Mark and his crew at Beyond Pets. My dog goes crazy when Mark comes over and he loves every minute of it — he will sit down and let Uli try to lick his face off. I always feel that Uli gets good personalized attention and that it’s not a quick in and out visit. I come home and Uli is happy and tired. And of course, that makes me very happy!

Mark, Jay and the whole gang at BeyondPets are fantastic!!! They provide us with daily dog walking services — not just 5 minute short walks around the block, but long walks that allow our precious Black Lab to stretch her legs and get some much needed exercise.
When we have left town for longer vacations, they have watched over both our dog and our cat, and have done a great job. We NEVER need to worry about our beloved pets when Beyond Pets is on the job.
Beyond Pets is an excellent company and, more importantly, a trusted organization that knows how precious our pets are to our family. If you live in Marin County, I highly recommend BP for all of your pet care needs.
