I have been a certified hypnotherapist and shamanic practitioner in the Bay Area since 2006. I see clients in Mill Valley and in Lafayette, and also teach hypnotherapy and shamanism in Lafayette at HCH Inst.

I grew up in Nebraska, attended the University of Nebraska (B.S.) followed by graduate school at the University of California Berkeley (PhD). I was a geology professor and researcher and published over 60 scientific articles. My path into shamanism began in 2003 and I trained in shamanic healing, hypnotherapy, and EFT. I now teach shamanism and hypnotherapy at HCH Institute in Lafayette and have a private practice in Lafayette (East Bay) and Mill Valley (Marin County).
